CNN has it on front page.......
It's about time Kraft does something about this... it's getting way out of hand... first twitter, then NFL.com and now CNN ..... and it ONLY happens when PATS win ....:mad:

If we get punished for this crap Kraft should put all his power into ousting Goodell from office.

Didn't they say during a game once that Rodgers has his footballs OVER-inflated? Is that not illegal!?

The SI feature last month by Greg Garber said that Brady played with over-inflated balls throughout the 2005 season.

Badda bing!

Deflated balls thing is SO DUMB. Ball is handled by an official on EVERY snap. If something was off, it wouldn't last 1 play. MORONS
Iam guessing this is what happened.Sometime during the 3rd Q te officials were throwing the ball back to get another. someone must asked them what happened , response wouldve been -"we will check what happened" and their guy ran with it.

Confirmed by NFL?

"NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday, via NFL spokesman Michael Signora, that the league is looking into the apparent use of overly deflated footballs by the Patriots during their win."

Well it's pretty obvious that the NFL will look into it. They do that with all accusations about cheating and stuff that they get. I mean, even deciding whether or not to spend any real time investigating it could be called "looking into it". The NFL looking into it means absolutely nothing.

This guy is so ******ed...he said the officials "weighed" the ball. Which should be between 12.5 and 13.5 pounds...that is pounds per square inch. I don't think you could fit a pound of air into a ball. He has no idea what he's talking about. This is a non story and stupid on his part.

Every man in that locker room will use it as motivation to take the Lombardi home.
I don't think you will see one punt or field goal In the superbowl just a bit FU.
I'm sure the refs will try to affect the game as much as possible but we are going to come out possessed and just slaughter the Sea Chickens.

......and Bob Kraft and Stacey James sat around watching the ensuing national #hitstorm with their thumbs up their arse again.

They are required to look into it, and that's the only reason they're doing it. It's interesting to see how the media is spinning it as something the league initiated rather than something they have to do only because someone **** their pants last night.

I don't believe that. If that were true then screw Bob Kraft.

Perhaps my anger is getting the better of me but I just don't see Bob Kraft personally making a denial statement or in any way trying to quell this nonsense. I suppose time will tell.

Don't know if this was linked to yet in this thread but Peter King spent a week with Gene Steratore's crew during the 2013 season and he has a snippet in the article about how the balls are done before the game.

So the Pats would have to deflate them on the sideline during the game then, yes?

What if Wilfork sat on them?

Would explain a lot.

Bob Kravitz should be sued for this and blackballed from publicly writing again.
I don't think I've ever seen one team against the world like our Patriots vs the FEMFL.
I hope when we hoist the Lombardi Belichick looks at the Camera and says Bite me.

And the same Peter King today doesnt offer this nugget himself today saying if it is true, it could ve helped the passing game. You might want to inform him of his own article...

One final thing: Bob Kravitz of WTHR reported this morning that the league would investigate the Patriots for deflating some footballs Sunday night in the championship game. We’ll see how that develops today. I didn’t hear about this until well after midnight, so I’m not sure about its significance. But if true, theoretically it could—could, not would—make a football easier to throw and catch. Again, we’ll see if this has any legs today. Stay tuned.

The NFL won't be able to check into it just yet. They are busy working on the Rats tampering allegation.

The same news outlets covering Inflategate also gave Tamper gate equal coverage right?

and another thing, this would be the first time anyone questioned the size of Belichick's balls....

If deflated footballs are easier to throw and catch then why were there so many dropped passes and Brady was off on more than a few. The Gronk INT down the seam was way underthrown and so was another down the middle to Andelman.

I am so annoyed . They can't even allow us to enjoy our win without some BS controversy. It is tme for Kraft to do something about this !
