Pitt fans bitter about Blount

I was hoping that I'd see something like this.

Maybe next year they can cut Antonio Brown or Maurkice Pouncey--a month before the postseason.

As noted by others Pit fans have a right to be pissed at Blount. After all, BLOUNT is the one who forced their hand and it would suck to see him BENEFIT from not being a team player.

I think we all would feel slighted and full of bitterness if we saw Adalius Thomas going to the Super Bowl in 2009 (and playing a key role).

(edit: message is the same, just cleaning up the typos)

Props to two Steelers fans from the second thread:

Who cares. N.E would have been playing in the Super Bowl representing the AFC either way, Blount or no Blount. Hell, they made it to the title LAST season and that was by far one of the worst teams Belichick has ever fielded.

Point blank, N.E is a superior franchise right now. Their coaching is at a level where perfection is actually a good word to describe, even though it shouldn't exist. Watching a Patriots game, rarely do you ever have the feeling that they are about to lose. It just never happens and when they do, it's shocking. Brady was a miracle helmet catch and a Wes Welker drop away from being 4-0 in Super Bowls. It is what it is. New England deserves it. When it comes to the AFC, they are superior to every other franchise in the Conference. By far from top to bottom.

New England is a true model franchise. They make stars out of scrubs. Always a contender. Always a good coaching staff.

The "we only lost to them in the AFC Championship cause James Harrison said so in an interview that they cheated" is tired. Cowher himself called that a load of ****.

Everyone in the NFL was doing whatever they could to learn the other's teams signals. It wasn't even illegal to do so. New England just got caught with their pants down.

Show of hands, how many people here didn't want Blount when he was cut by Pitt?

Pittsburgh has nobody to blame but themselves. They knew Blount had a history when they signed him to a two year contract. Plus Tomlin had no idea how to use him. There is no way Blount would try that s*** here. Did you see his face when he was asked how important it was that Brady and BB had faith in him. He was on the verge of tears. He is happy to be here.

I've spent a lot of time in Pittsburgh in the past year, and have been impressed with the intelligence and relative objectivity of the Steelers fans I've chatted with there. Much of that time has been around a high caliber University, so the sample size is skewed, but still, there is evidence of intelligent life in that city.

Not sure Blount would of helped them vs Baltimore anyway. Baltimores run defense was peaking for the playoffs. Not sure if Bell would of been the difference in that game? Maybe his pass catching ability would have helped? Right now they are probably crying over the what if scenario.

Glad to have him back though. That's for sure.

I was thinking during the game "how can pitt have just cut this guy?" Crazy to think they just gave him away for free, and then for the colts to not put a claim in? crazy sauce.
