Go ahead and enjoy it, I want to enjoy wins without this garbage. Seriously, football has to be the biggest crybaby sport in existence, you never hear crybaby ******** like this after a hockey game or series.
Exactly, somebody needs to be fired if this turns out to be true. This is the stupidest thing ever.
That's an interesting point. I wonder if there is anything written in the rules or other NFL procedural documents saying it is standard procedure? Most likely, that ball that was swapped out was defective and was noticeably deflated. It's probably standard protocol to investigate to see what happened and if the processes can be improved. I sincerely doubt there is some sort of NFL investigation into any impropriety by the Patriots. The media is irresponsible and is running with the spin that some butt-hurt jack-off put out there. Idiotic jealous NFL fans eat that **** up which just adds more fuel to the fire.
As Galeb said above you, that's likely what happened. While a deflated ball may be easier to grip, a visually deflated ball would be next to impossible to throw at an NFL level.Does anyone remember that moment (I think it was in the3rd or 4th quarter) when the Pats has the ball and there was a long delay before they could snap it? the Pats were called away once or twice from the LOS and there seemed to be some confusion. Finally the ref stepped in took the ball and threw it to the sideline and got another ball. It was an odd 45-50 seconds.
It could have been just one ball that somehow became deflated or warped.
Yeah This .........Xs 10We can never just win a game. There always has to be an underhanded trick somewhere. My god.
The fact that is not anywhere in the frontpage of ESPN makes me doubt even more about the credibility of the story.
Not that I believe everything that comes out of that network, but they would have jumped very quickly on this story.

Didn't they say on the broadcast that it looked a K ball had mistakenly made it in and they just had to swap it out?
At any rate, the NFL controls the balls. This is sooooo stupid.

Agree!
The fans deserve better.
That said, I am glad that this breaking news on 'Ball-gate" broke two weeks before the SB and not on the eve of it.
1. Who cares what other people think?
2. BB has just had his pre-game motivational speech written for him.
I welcome this because it's likely to motivate the team even more if that's possible.
