On one hand, deflated footballs or not, it was not going to make a difference on the winner of the game. On the other hand, if this is true, why would the Patriots do something so stupid?
Exactly, somebody needs to be fired if this turns out to be true. This is the stupidest thing ever.

"The word out there is that the cheating Pats had practiced all year with deflated balls in order to sneak it into the most important game and gain a edge. It became evident when the Colts muffed the punt b/c............"

Phuck it, I cannot spin this BS.

Personally I think this is delicious. This is just what I want to see and hear. I hope the Patrioits come out of the tunnel in Arizona so seething with disrespect and rage they piss-pound the Seahawks and there yapping morons into Arizona desert dust.

This will be brought up at every turn for the next 2 weeks. The Patriots will be frothing at the mouth by kickoff. The only thing Kravitz has done is turn Seattle into the "Legion of Doomed.

This is shaping up to be a blowout of epic proportions.

Couldn't agree more. My guess on what happened is that Irsay or someone close to him intentionally raised a stink, which the league is compelled to investigate, by default. Kravitz (probably cued beforehand) pounced on it like fly on ****.

In a few days, the league will be announcing they could find "no evidence of wrongdoing." But this will barely be mentioned.

After my meltdown i have to say that the silver lining in this IS what you posted. Thinking back to the season of spygate BB Brady and the team used that as motivation to go 16-0. So let them use the pats cheated montra to motivate themselves for this game.

Funny how this BS comes out after the NFL starts investigating the Jets tampering. No punishment is discussed about the tampering yet there is talk already about taking away draft picks from the Pats.

I have to wonder if Deus has ever received a Dislike without immediately firing back with insults and name calling?
Isn't it pathetic? I disliked one of his posts one time and he went on a dislike rampage. Most of my dislikes are literally from him. What kind of loser gets that worked up over dislikes on a message board?

How do you tamper something that is under the control of the NFL??... sounds like much ado about nothing, but haters gonna hate...

Now the lead story on Fox News...

Yup. It'll be like Ainge Bites Tree.

THIS is exactly where I see this going. They have yet one avenue to express their rage. Woe behold the Seahawks come Feb. 1st.

Go ahead and enjoy it, I want to enjoy wins without this garbage. Seriously, football has to be the biggest crybaby sport in existence, you never hear crybaby ******** like this after a hockey game or series.
That's because pucks aren't inflated.

The only question is once the "ball attendants" get control of the ball for the game, how much control over the ball do they have and is there any way for the team to get them to tamper with. A team getting the balls from the attendants, deflating to the right level, and returning them seems unrealistic.

I agree seems as though there will always be those who need an excuse... or the necessity to blame.

QB's are fastidious about footballs. They know down to the milligram if a football is off or not. Each QB is allowed to keep their own stash for a game.

I want to hear from Andrew Luck. Did he feel the footballs he was throwing and holding last night were off?

He certainly did not say a word about it at his press conference.

To me, Andrew Luck is the center of who the press should ask.

Why?

Luck didn't throw any of the Pats balls. Each team has it's own dozen balls that are given to the ref's an hour before the game to be inspected and I guess weighed.

The Pats are so far ahead of the curve that it is hilarious to see the intensity with which some of the haters (and please, they are NOT a small minority as someone suggested earlier; they are many - right from TV hosts to analysts) try to smear and go after us with gusto for both minor actions like taping from the wrong place (broke the rule) as well as smart actions like using formations (all within rules) designed to confuse the opponents D.

It's easier to spin a properly inflated ball. Plus qbs are used to throwing properly inflated balls. Any aberration would be somewhat detrimental I would think.

Plus Luck was going to be throwing more and they knew that. That would be negated if each team only played with their own balls.

If there is a retraction by the NFL, it will be on page c3... and we will move on to some other crap.
