Earl Thomas reportedly has a separated shoulder - he will get an MRI tomorrow. Richard Sherman is rumored to have a pinched ulnar nerve, but he says he'll be playing in the game. If they are significantly hurt that's a big blow to seattle. If anyone has more info, please post it here.

Information will be scarce... They will play... I do remember Tom Brady hurting his ankle against San Diego prior to one of the losses to the Giants and Rob Gronkowski hurt his ankle against Baltimore prior to the other Giants game. In other words both players played despite not being at 100% and it showed.

Big props to both of those guys for getting back on that field when their team needed them. Really not a Sherman fan, I don't like guys who are that unsportsmanlike to their competitors, but I've got to respect what he and Thomas did there today.

if thomas came back into the game w/ a separated shoulder...

well i just cant believe that....

that would be ridiculous

for all the talking those boys do....they sure dont want to be called soft.

Those two are champions for a reason.

Both of these guys, each had a INT by Brady in the 2012 regular season game against Seahawks..

Hope they are healthy and can play. So, the Patriots can defeat these guys and get revenge.

What i want to know is how did they let russell wilson back into the game so quickly after Clay Matthews straight up nearly killed him.

If Thomas is out that kills the Seahawks defense

Brady was in a walking boot for the high ankle sprain the week after the 07 AFCCG and Gronk was after 2011. Gronk had surgery on it 5 days later.

For some reason that game- more than other losses left a bad taste in my mouth.

I respect their accomplishments but they annoy me.

Yup. Both losses. Key players at less than 100% can mean the difference in the Super Bowl.
Its huge. SEA slides Sherman all over the field. Besides Jules and Amendola, there will be times when he is lined up vs LaFell and Gronk and maybe Wright- larger receivers and harder to tackle. Even Edelman is a slippery dude.

With that said, if it's just a hyper-extended elbow he should be close to fine in a couple of weeks. If it's more than that, good luck jamming on the line.

sherman won't leave his side of the field...put slater out there on him :)

After what T.O. did to the Pats in SB39 I don't discount anyone in the Super Bowl because of injuries...I expect them to play and probably well...

believe Sherman stays on left side only. Listen to what Ty Law has to say.

He plays one side only. It's understood that every corner can play any number of coverages front to back but he won't be swapping sides unless Seattle does something they don't do.

Sherman said pregame to a reporter something about ligament damage..
