The "I'm nervous about Seattle" thread

I think Seattle has a weakness in their run defense. The Pats could definitely open up the pass game with that, or just throttle them with the rush a majority of the game. Either way, I see Bellichick and co. finding weaknesses in Seattle's defense and wearing them down throughout the game.

Seattle's offense should worry them. Their o line is weak, and their quarterback isn't as accurate as some of the best though he gets a reputation for being a great QB. I can see them figuring him out like they did Tebow in the regular season matchup that year. Maybe makes some plays early, but figures out his one dimensional technique and start to run away with the game.

On that note, I'd like to see them sack him for 30+ like they did against Tebow. Lol

I hope they're there, 100%.

To be the best, you beat the best.
No one ever remembers that crap.

Pats didn't have their best Dlineman last year(Wilfork), best defensive back (Talib), best linebacker (Mayo), and best offensive weapon (Gronkowski)…. nobody cares about that when talking about the loss to Denver last year.

Just got to handle that first shotgun snap, hoping for competitive game unlike last years beat down during super bowl
That's the difference between Brady and Manning.

Brady will fight for 60 minutes. Manning gave up after that first snap of the game that went over his head

One thing I'm sure of

And this is coming from someone who doesn't think GB did anything wrong today (until the ball-less drive with 5 min to go in the game)
If NE finds a way to get up 16 pts

They ain't blowing that ****

I'm terrified. If the Patriots lose their season is over. And if they win their season is over.

Total lose lose scenario. This sucks.

Once again. DAMN YOU BILL!!!!!?

Regardless of whether we win/lose the SB, if hope someone creates a thread titled "I DON'T CARE I CAN'T STAND IT! 2.0" in which the poster complains about how Denver was able to muster up a historical SB performance (read: historically terrible), whilst New England has to settle for an "Ocean Coast" performance in which they win/lose by only 3-7 pts.

This Super Bowl will show the NFL who is boss. Brady will be GOAT and the Manning v Brady debate will also be finished.

I care more about the game than about who wins the game. There's no shame in losing a Superbowl, and I think this Pats team can beat a healthy Seahawks team.

It's not about who remembers what.

I want to watch an epic battle.

this thread should be deleted. anyone who is nervous should hand over the pats fan card now.

Our special teams would have NEVER blown that onside kick. I feel like I can say this with near 100% certainty. I mean, good LORD.

Did Bostick have to walk home? Or did he crawl?

We will win the Super Bowl. It is the sixth appearance and six is our lucky number. These boys WANT it - Edelman, ninkovich, and all the rest. We also don't have Mankins to worry about anymore.
When will you people learn to stop guaranteeing Super Bowls? Anything can happen..

I would not complain at all if the first offensive play is something very conservative.

In SB42, they ran that fake end around to Welker and then a screen to Maroney. It would have worked great except the Giants linemen were in so quickly on Brady, he couldn't get enough on the throw and it hit the ground before Maroney could catch it. That play would have gone for huge yardage if it worked, but, in hindsight, it set the tone for the Patriots being thisclose to making a big play but rarely succeeding.

In SB46, Brady was called for intentional grounding in the end zone on the first play, which resulted in a safety. The Giants had the ball for over 11 minutes in the first quarter and had a 9-0 lead before the Patriots could run their 2nd offensive play.

I know things from 7 or 3 years ago will have zero impact on this game, but my vote is to hand it off to Blount or run a QB sneak.

Go away you whiny troll...your credibility on this board has ceased to exist

Agreed. Honestly, do these wusses just sprout up organically around here? You watch what just took place and you're nervous about a team that won the way Seattle did? Go away, troll.

This might sound like a cliche' but the Patriots need to be able to play for (4) full quarters. The Packers had a significant lead and the panthers were only a few points behind and ran out of gas late in their respective games.
