What pass rush? Oh, THAT pass rush!

Ninkovich killed their RT. Luck might get some criticism but he avoided a lot those pressures with his movement in the pocket.

Ooh. That means he's better than Von Miller :)

Don't forget Jones. He single-handly ended two of their drives.

Also hats off to Kyle Arrington who played the game of his life in shutting down Hilton for the most part (1 catch).

Also, as much as I hate it, I have to eat crow and tip my hat to Kline. We never heard his name tonight. Not once.

Well it was a double team with McCourty.

I do have to give credit to Luck for moving well in the pocket, and know exactly when the pressure was going to get there and getting rid of the ball in time. However, I also have to criticize him for not actually completing those passes (or maybe I should just give props to the secondary for playing ridiculously well).

Hilton's two worst games of the year came against the Pats

3 rec on 7 targets 24 yards
1 rec on 6 targets 36 yards

Ninkovich was a man possessed tonight, he played tremendously. On nearly every play he was a factor.

They got pressure..Luck just always got rid of the ball to our DBs before he could take the sack.

its deception and mis-direction this Super Bowl .. discipline discipline discipline football is a must .. these ends are gonna be asked to do allot of staying home ..

I saw chandler make a play and then dissappeared.I would like to see more of a rush from him

It was also an incredible throw and catch. Just got to tip your hat to that one.

If the Patriots give up nothing but catches like that, there won't be too many catches.

Exactly -- Hilton had 1 catch in 6 targets, and that came on a very difficult play.

Sacks can be misleading sometimes. The pressures are arguably nearly as important

we always pressure Luck…. nothing new here. But then other games our pass rush disappears

This was my take on it as well. What Luck and Hilton did in that play is almost indefensible because of how circus style it was. They aren't going to(and didn't) convert many of those.

I don't recall Chandler Jones being mentioned during the game which is a bad sign. I hope he can be a playmaker in the next game. Has been invisible in the playoffs, yeah he was held on some plays in Baltimore, but the great pass rushers still make the plays.
