The "I'm nervous about Seattle" thread

Beast Mode is going to be hard to stop.

underdogs at last!!! DISRESPECT CARD!!!!

Just got to handle that first shotgun snap, hoping for competitive game unlike last years beat down during super bowl

Let's not be afraid of Seattle. That's the mentality we had going into the last Super Bowl.

The play of the Seattle-GB game was the 2 point play that was just horribly played by GB. If GB had stopped that (which was a basically a throw up) they would have won the game.

It's my team playing on the biggest stage, of course I'm going to be nervous. If it weren't Seattle, we'd all be fretting about playing Rodgers and that Packers O. Hell if the Cowboys were here, we'd be worrying about stopping Murray and generating pressure on that O-line. If the Lions were here, we'd be worried about that D-line and stopping CJ and Tate.

This game is going to be the toughest we've played all season, and I'm not gonna be surprised if we lose. But I've spent this entire season fearing opponents, and at this point, I'm kinda tired doing it. We're underdogs? Then the worst that happens is that the expected outcome (IE: Seattle wins). Oh sure, we could get blown out, but I highly doubt that it's gonna happen.

the pats are averaging 40 points per game and 35 of does points were put on the only defense in the playoffs that could get to Brady so I like the pats chances of winning even a close game

Im sure they would be happy with an injured gronk.

Could we stop these chicken threads?

Some would. And some would say the same thing I just said.

No excuses. No backing in. No hoping for plane crashes. MRSA, etc.

Just. Go. Win.

Please no send of rally this time. 3 times they had the rally (96 , 07, 11) they lost and 3 times they didn't have the rally (01, 03, 04) they won.
Bob Kraft forget about rubbing shoulders with politicians by having these rallies, it's not worth it. Forget about PR and pleasing these politicans, just do what needs to be done to win trophies

we have the GOAT coach

if we are healthy, we should win

go pats

I hope they're there, 100%.

To be the best, you beat the best.

Nah. Think of it like karma for Gronk being injured in the last SuperBowl game

I'll take any shot at the Super Bowl against anyone.

Brady-era Pats in the Super Bowl, 3-2, total point spread of +2 for Pats. These are two really good teams. They played to damn-near a draw two years ago in Seattle. Both are better teams today than they were then. It's gonna be a great game. In Bill (and Tom) I trust to be as ready as possible to win.

Gronk v. the Seattle safeties is about as good of a strength v. strength matchup you can ask for.

Early pick - New England 28, Seattle 24

Of course, I'd be okay with the Pats running Seattle off the field 59-0 too.

Russell Wilson looked terrible today. Their WR's looked bad. Revis can man up on one and shut them down. The only problem will be Lynch, and we will have to sell out to stop him. Seahawks don't have those downfield threats like the Ravens do (Torrey Smith and Steve Smith)

Seahawks are probably the only team that shouldn't have to fear Gronkowski. Kam Chancellor is one of the few safeties that can make Gronk think twice going over the middle. Sherman is tall enough and fast enough to man up on Gronk. But can they cover Edelman, and Lafell, and Amendola? Is there DLine good enough to stop Blount?

We will win the Super Bowl. It is the sixth appearance and six is our lucky number. These boys WANT it - Edelman, ninkovich, and all the rest. We also don't have Mankins to worry about anymore.

I am concerned and every Pats/Seahawks fan should be as well. This is going to be a hard fought game. Personally I think the Seahawks deserve to be 2.5 point favorites. I think the Pats can win but they need to do a lot of things right and very few things wrong.

This game needs to be won by our D shutting down Seattle's O. If they can make it so we only need to score 20 points to win I think the Pats can. That is going to be tough though.
