This is Suspicious: Pats Have Won Coin Toss In 13 of 17 Games

Tails never fails

BB makes the captains practise. They are told to look at the way the coin is facing in the hand of the ref and to recall from film study the arm strength and tendencies of that ref. It's all situation football.

Another missed opportunity.

As a minor point, this is unlikely, but not to the point of suspiciousness; there's actually about a 1% chance of winning the coin toss as often as the Patriots have this year.

Even when they lose, more often than not, the other team elects to receive the ball first.

So, even when we lose, we win.

I remember a year when we lost most of the coin tosses. I remember it because I thought that was suspicious. So, instead of suspicious, I call this auspicious, a sign we will win the Superbowl.
