i decided...: cheeseheads

I want Sea, would be exciting to watch.

Who the hell wants to hear about how the `Pats only beat an injured Rodgers`?
I'll pass. Bring on the Hawks.

As a Seahawks fan if the Hawks are fortunate enough to get back I don't want any part of Tom Brady, Gronk and Bill B. It isn't the TEs that give the Hawks trouble, it is the TEs that have a good passer to get them the ball. Brady certainly fits that role.

We'll see what happens this weekend, I just hope that it is a problem that we Seahawks fans have to worry about. You guys are going to mangle the Colts, so that's just a formality. Good luck, I hope we have the chance to find out how Hawks/Pats matchup.

It's a conference championship. Anything can happen day. I'll look for a Pats win and hopefully a shot at the ring again. Seattle or GB, either one I'd rather not face but to be the best you gotta beat the ...well...everyone knows. Good luck, G.O.

Like I've said all week, I can understand it from both ways and while I'm not sure that I totally agree, can appreciate the fact that most here would rather face the Packers.

I just have a feeling that some may change their minds after the game tomorrow.

Shoot....I'd take an easier chance at a Super Bowl victory any day of the week. I'm not gonna lie. I think most would agree with me.

We've come too close since the AFCCG in 2006 to give a damn about what anyone thinks. We should have AT LEAST one more Super Bowl win from 2006 on.

Seahawks. No need to be intimidated. If it comes to pass, I'd like to see the Patriots knock off the defending champions. Remember how sweet it was to beat the Rams.

A matchup between Belichick and his predecessor would be great. So much rich history there.

Neutral field is big in this one. The Seahawks thrive at home with the noise and vaunted 12th man. On the road they were 5-3.

The Seahawks lost to the Chargers, lost to the Chiefs and only put up 24 on the Broncos. The St. Louis Rams beat the Seahawks once and held them to 20 points in December. There are ways to keep these guys off the scoreboard.

If any team has been toughened by facing tough defenses in 2014, it's the Patriots.

The Seahawks haven't seen an offense like the Patriots in the hurry-up. The closest they seen of a high octane offense with a running game and multiple weapons in the passing game is the Cowboys who beat them soundly in their place 30-20.
If the Seahawks get to the Superbowl, the crowd in Phoenix will likely be heavily skewed toward them. LOTS of northwest snowbirds there with $ for tickets and a quick flight from Seattle.

I honestly don't care. I just hope to witness the patriots punch their ticket to Arizona. Any given Sunday, blah blah blah...I am getting the feeling we come out and simply put the Colts down. Twenty point lead after our drive in the third, luck starts chucking it up like he's Grossman and it just gets ugly from there. Harmon with a pick, Collins manages two sacks and a FF.

Is it six thirty yet?!

Nobody seemed to care the Giants beat an injured Brady in 42.

Pats fans travel well too. I remember the crowd being against the Seahawks back in SB 40, don't remember last year though.

Guys and Gals .. Some are not seeing the big picture .. Seattle is the dream match up .. The Pats will have a lonnnngggg two weeks of hearing how "great" the LOB is, and how Wilson is the 2nd coming .. I mean no one, no one will give NE a chance to win .. Even now they are 2.5 pts underdogs .. I trust Josh n Bill will come up w a plan for that Defense .. The Pats will have Seattle Greatness coming out of their ears by the time the game starts ..

I don't really care, both teams are strong and will be a challenge but in differrnt ways. I just hope NE comes out today and plays better than they did last week.

Good defensive lines are bad for us. Would rather play packers again.

Just want the Pats to win today. Just want them to get another opportunity to get number 4. Everything else is irrelevant to me right now.

I don't know, I think we match up well. The only downside to Seattle making it is they will probably have something of a home field advantage since it's on the West coast.

Not sure I agree with this part. It's a 1,400 mile trip from Seattle to Glendale, and it's the home of the Arizona Cardinals, division rival of the Seattle Seahawks. To put that in perspective, that would be like having the Super Bowl in Sun Life Stadium and calling it a home field advantage for the Pats. Similar travel distance, team from same coast, division rival hosting the game.

Though to be fair I believe the Pats are still hated by most neutral fans for a multitude of reasons, chief of them being that the Pats keep winning a lot and refuse to fade into obscurity. Thus I don't believe a home field advantage would exist for them anywhere but Gillette Stadium.

Can we get a write in candidate? I pick the Bucs. Hey, they almost won the NFC South. That should be enough to get them into the Super Bowl.

It wasn't discussed during the sason, but it was astounding how far into the season the team that ended up with the 1st pick in the draft was actually in contention for the division title.
