Can I get a hint? 07 or 06?
Of course, I wasn't trying to be vague. It was in the game this thread is about when Jeff Saturday got the big push against Vince on the winning TD. Not that it matters to any other Pats fan but we sat next to Saturday's parents at the Conrad at brunch that morning and they couldn't be nicer. Which somehow made it worse that night.

AFCCG loss was worse than SB42 because Pats players & coaches did such a poor job relative to the Jints in that game that they were outplayed. Watching, I thought that the Pats deserved to lose. Only Brady's last TD drive redeemed their performance. Kudos to the Jints coaching staff.

After a 19 point halftime lead, the 2006 AFCCG was a travesty of officiating and the bug eyed forker's drop.

New England had 2 timeouts with 48 seconds left when Brady connected on a 20+ yard pass down field. Watching today, I was stunned they didn't call timeout instead letting it run down into the 20s. time is more precious there than timeouts and you gotta figure its gonna take some time to set the offense up after a big completion. Anyone remember/notice this?

The fact that we could have easily won a 4th super bowl in 2006 after winning the super bowl in 2001, 2003, 2004 is mind wrecking, oh and how about this imagine after winning in 2001, 2003, 2004 add 2006 and a 19-0 2007 season we were so close to doing something impossible in the Nfl talk about a dynasty that could of been 5 super bowls back to back.

I'd say we have probably broken about even when it comes to luck. Tuck rule and the helmet catch balance out in my opinion. As much as we probably would have preferred 19-0 to the first one, that super bowl wouldn't be worth 2 rings.

That doesn't even begin to make any sense.

Can't watch it....just can't. I know a lot of people will say the 07 super bowl was worse, bigger stage perfection on the line the f%^*ing helmet catch, but for me this was way worse. At least in 07 we got out played and deserved to lose that day. Yeah if they play that game 100 times the pats win 97 of them but on that day...it was one of the 3. This was the game that changed the dynasty from winning championships to always being so close. This was the game that got pay me a ton his only ring. This was the game they had won only to see the flu, the refs, and bug eyes take it away. I dislike the Giants and wish them nothing but misfortune but at least I can respect them as worthy opponents who played the game of thier lives. The mother bleeping bleepedy bleep bleepin colts had to change football, pump in crowd noise, and crank the heaters knowing the pats had the flu to get that game. I am with Deus, I need to go find some puppies to kick remembering the worst game as a pats fan I have ever watched.

Worst call was definitely the no PI on Kelvin Hayden when he mugged Reche Caldwell in the endzone on 3rd down.

To me, that was the worst call/no-call of the game. All the elements of PI were there: Contact with the receiver while the ball is in the air, not looking for the ball, and impeding the receiver from making a play on the ball. That should have been an easy PI call, especially compared to some of the other calls they made.

Give the Patriots a TD there and the Colts would be working for a tie instead of win late in the 4th quarter. If the Colts defense held the Patriots to a FG anyway, then the Patriots had their shot and blew it.
