One more for Supa:

Patriots playoff losses since 2004

Broncos - Broncos favored, Patriots rebuilding
Colts - Colts favored, Patriots dealing with flu, phantom PI call
Giants - Brady injured, Neal injured, all TEs injured, helmet catch
Ravens - Brady first year back, Welker injured the week before
Jets - Flat out choke job
Giants - Gronk injured, Brady injured (degree of injury questionable)
Ravens - Gronk injured
Broncos - Gronk injured, Talib injured, seemingly half the team on IR

Even in the post 2004 era, healthy Patriots teams (Defined as a Patriots teams not missing critical high-end players or having those high-end players severely limited) have only lost twice, and only once when favored.

Thanks, buddy.

One of the great things that came from last week was that we got to see the offense revert back to good form again, so if that continues things should be fine. The addition of the running game would only add to that even more.

I'd like to see the defense clean up a bit from last week, but I think that's more of a one-time deal than cause for concern.

Arthur Jones.

I should have been more specific. They don't have anyone quite like Ngata who can align over the C and drive him back into Brady. A. Jones is a DE.

ESPN Boston really screwed up the Injury Report. They have Browner, Hightower, Chris Jones, and Lafell as Probable, when they are actually Questionable. Bad editing there...

That said, hopefully Browner can go. I'm sure Hightower and Lafell will be able to go. Thoughts?

EDIT: Boston.com has them as probable too, but Patriots.com has them as Questionable. Gotta go with Patriots.com on this one, right?

Might want to check your glasses bro. Patriots.com has them as probable.

They must have realized their mistake, because it was Questionable earlier in the day. Their twitter had it as well. They edited their twitter as well. You can edit tweets and websites. You know that right? Bro...

Seriously, why do people have to be internet tough guys for no reason.

Here is a screenshot to prove my point further, look at the Patriots' tweet on the bottom right:

I haven't hated the Colts since peyton was there. In fact, I like Luck, and was a big TY Hilton fan (wanted the Pats to draft him), and I just knew Hilton was going to be good (damn you BB !, drafted Jake Bequette 2 slots ahead of Hilton, man that hurts). That being said, if the unmentionable happens, I will become a Colt hater once again.

Not me. I'll be pulling hard for the AFC winner.

There was a similar situation a few weeks back. Funny to see Price's contradicting tweet right below it.

Exactly, that's why I was confused to begin with. You would think the Patriots PR department could get it right the first time. That or Belichick is playing games ;)

Maybe they'll block another FG attempt. Would be sweet to swat an attempt from #4 away. Even better to return it for a TD as they've done twice already this year.

He missed one last week in Denver so he's not due to miss another FG for a while.

I hear you. But he can't control if NE shoots a gap and gets in there before he can really get the ball away. I just love when NE makes big play on special teams and defense.

Almost every year there is one team that gets hot and goes to the Super Bowl when nobody expects them too. The Pats need to be focused and come out aggressive against the Colts and not let them stay close. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THEM

I don't think they players will underestimate them at all IMO

This is a big game no matter if they were playing the bills or Texans. BIG game...

Reading this tweet from Howe.... Either Gray developed this response more fully, or he's really, really, really not helping himself:
https://twitter.com/jeffphowe/status/556204124413644800

But this is what he said in full:

"I’m not really sure," Gray responded. "I’m not really sure why I was inactive. I pretty much just go along with whatever Bill (Belichick) wants me to do. Whatever he thinks is best for the team, he is going to do it. We all believe in his approach, and it has worked."

Still not the best answer but it sounds better when you read the whole thing.

I was thinking about flying in from Ontario, Canada for my first game after I saw an awesome ticket for sale...

But my f***** passport is expired  :(

Playing in this organization is not easy. There is zero coddling or giving players the warm and fuzzys.

Based on the LaFell piece this week, what I found interesting is that he has never been told how well/bad he was doing.

BB won't go out of his way and explain or justify to players why they aren't playing. He expects players are smart enough to figure it out on their own and continue to work hard and improve.

With all that said, Gray just needs to keep his mouth shut. He comes across like hes whining.

I agree that he should have figured out why he was not active. The game plan was to pass, pass and pass some more. If Gray has not figured this out yet, he might not be that bright...

The Colts don't actually run a Ravens/Jets style of defense. They don't have the DL for it. That's what I was referring to. I assumed that was understood. My mistake.

My bad....No worries:)

I appreciate you saying that, but it was definitely my bad. I should have used a different word. "Tree" fits your response much better than it fit my first comment. I made a poor assumption, and got sloppy with my writing as a result. That's all on me.
