I don't wanna watch but I do. Like a train wreck, you don't wanna see it but you can't help but watch. This one ripped my heart out. For some reason I find it as bad as sb 42 if not worse. This year will be different!
Totally agree but still can't bring myself to watch it. I was there and remember well the Pats fans on their phones high fiving at half-time trying to book flights/etc. to Miami. It was killing me and I could almost feel it coming. Still the loudest I've ever heard any stadium ever. Beer vibrating in my cup due to the noise. Took this picture downtown Indy the day before.

one of the worst games ever. i didn't expect anything, and we dominated first half and should of won if we had better wr's. right up there with the sb loss the following year in terms of disappointment.

Why in the hell would any pats fans ever want to see that again? 2nd worst loss I've ever watched. Refs ****ed us hard.

Because I'm a sicko? Not really sure how to answer that one. I watched the whole thing today.

No doubt in my mind that BS OPI call on us, when we made that third down in Colts territory changed the whole complexion of the game. We were up 21-3, and threatening again. If we make it 28-3, sorry even Peyton Manning was not going to come back from that. makes my blood boil even today, 8 years later, when I think about it.

Worst call was definitely the no PI on Kelvin Hayden when he mugged Reche Caldwell in the endzone on 3rd down.

Yup.

Pats get called for "Face Guarding" with no contact before the ball got there, Reche Caldwell gets tackled in the end zone with the ball on the way to him, and we get crickets!

I can't believe that any Pats fan could put any loss in the same category as the loss in 2007. Words can't describe how much pain came from that game.

I ran into a Giants fan at a local market a week or two after the game, and I congratulated him for his team's win. He was surprised and said that mine wasn't the typical reaction he received from Pats fans.

I can watch the 2007 SB. I can watch the 2011 SB. I can even watch the 85 SB beat down.

This game, though, is the one that I actually have trouble re-watching. They had this one in the bag, and then the defense just collapses, with the help of a penalty called for a non-illegal action.

Just thinking about this game gets me started down the dark path....

Take away a phantom PI and/or the flu bug
Take away a helmet catch
Take away Manningham's circus catch

Brady is probably 6-0 in the SB

Thanks, OP. Now I have to go find some puppies and kittens to drown.

This is why when I tell my friends that Pats fans have it rough.... I'm being serious.

Wilfork getting pancaked? Brutal.

Both 2005 and 2006 had an aspect of the refs taking the game away, which made them in some ways worse than 2007, which was just a result of being outplayed.

The 2007 loss didn't sting quite as much at the moment, but it really started to fester as all that was lost that day began to sink in.
