I already came out of the Felger fan club closet and was flamed with disagrees and dislikes. I'd take offense to the stuff he says if he wasn't so open about being a blatant troll (reminds me of a particular poster.) Anyways, what's your opinion on Mazz? I think he's a baseball guy who brings nothing to the table outside of that. I think he rides Felgers coat tail and could do without him. I'd rather have Felger and a homer on the show, like Zolak. That would lead to some hilarious debates. The show as it stands now is simply Felger saying crazy outside the box stuff, and Mazz "I totally agree Mike!" Get me a different opinion on there.

i agree with you

bertrand adds more than mazz during football season

i dont listen during baseball season, so i dont know how good mazz is then.....and i know less about baseball than i do about football

dont listen to gresh and zo

i like felgers humor.......i like that he's not a homer.......he obviously respects BBs intelligence.......he has been more complimentary of brady as the season went on......i love that he always makes insinuations about PED use in football......most of the media pretend its not there......

in short.....i like BB because he seems like the kind of dude i could be friends with if we were peers.......like say we went to school together.....i like felger because his persona is entertaining and humorous and more intelligent than people give him credit for, even if he doesnt try to delve into the x's and o's........who knows what felger is like in real life.......nice guy or a db

Ugh...

This is not the first time that moron did this; always on cue when it comes to big playoff games.

Hate that Sh&!@#$&^%$ because he is convinced based on his history that his superlative positives will jinx the Pats. Whatever. But I hate primarily because he gives material for the opponents to make them more motivated to beat us and even if they are unable to, make them mad enough to try doing anything nasty to prove a point.

What a tool...

Tomato cans? Where the **** did that come from? Shanknancy clearly lives in his own little pathetic world.

We're trouble, if Shaugnessy picks you to win you lose , if he pick you to lose you win.

Can't wait til after the SB "Mike they only won the SB but 3 flipping points. This is unacceptable! Patriots fans have a right to be upset and it starts with Belichick and Kraft."

Depends what you mean by "successful" he's certainly getting ratings, not positive ones but ratings none the less....he's tolerable maybe 20% of the time while Mazz is never tolerable. Felger knows exactly what he's doing when he's stirring up ****. While I think Mazz is just a ****ing idiot plain and simple.

There's no such thing as a tomato can in a conference championship game. By definition, you're either playing a top 2 seed, or a team that has gone on the road for at least one playoff game and came out with the win(s). Regardless of how the Pats match up or what the score ends up being, if they beat this Colts team it's an accomplishment. Period.

Two mentally challenged individuals who don't follow football have better insight than those two failures.

The Curly Haired Boyfriend is just pushing his agenda. If the Pats win, they didn't beat anyone to get into the Super Bowl. If the Pats lose, the Pats just showed again this year that they get into the playoffs by beating tomato soup cans and then lose in the playoffs by a slightly better tomato soup can.

As I stated in another thread, I don't like the dismissal of and dissing of the Colts. It keeps bringing up memories of the "only 17 to 14?" Giants SB

Ian should have a sub-forum for all of these threads hand-wringing over what the media says. Just my opinion of course, but it's been a shadow hanging over the main forum for years.

Can I join in? Tom Brady should be Garoppolo's backup. Revis is washed up. Browner sucks. Edelman, Amendola, Tyms, and Lafell are a bunch of nobodies. Gronk is nothing compared to Jimmy Graham. Tim Wright has amounted to nothing. Our defense is worse than 2011's. And we absolutely should not have won that game against the Ravens.

The ironically funny thing, of course, is that this sounds exactly LIKE Felger, Shank, Borges et al most of the time.

I'd like to fill a pillow case with Tomato Cans and......Shank's an ass. It's not like we had the NFC and AFC South on our schedule. As far as he's concerned the only team in the league that isn't a Tomato Can is Seattle. He already has his article all written up if they win and he's just drooling to unleash his scathing hate on all the "fanboys". He's a vindictive, petty, small man consumed in his own hate of the admiration other writers get.

The thing I hate about Shank the most? He has NO sense of humor, unless it includes humiliating people. No self-deprecation at all. Hate people like that, especially in a writer. I'll take Curran's goofiness anyday.

I think I might dislike that hack Dan Shaughnessy more than I dislike Peyton Manning. That is saying something.

As long as no one in the patriots locker room share the same beliefs we are all good.

Some people do their hand-wringing over the silly things a trolling, sensationalist media has said... and other's do their own hand-wringing over the fact that other people are wringing their hands.
