Rex Press Conference

I'm still surprised he took this job instead of taking a year off and waiting for a better opportunity. He's going to fail in Buffalo, and then his stock/status will be completely down the drain.

he got what a 30 million dollar deal?

are you going to give up 30 million dollars for the potential chance at a better opportunity down the line? its not like players. Rex is getting all of that money, even if they fire him, hes getting PAID,

Is Rex ever the definition of talking the talk, but having nothing to back it up with?

I mean this guy really is the perfect opponent to BB. A classic case of bragging vs letting your actions speak for you. He will never change, and will always be pure entertainment. You have to give him credit for having the gift of getting his weak minded players to buy this POOP(this is how you do it Tom, you classless Patriot!) despite all the evidence(or lack of) of the contrary.

@WGRZ: Rex Ryan on Patriots: We're not afraid of anyone and we're not afraid of them. (Photo: @jgermano1) http://t.co/d8ePlonyMS

@realOBF: Rex on #Patriots: "We're not afraid of anybody...if they want to bring back Russ Francis and John Hannah at gaurd, we'll play them, too."

Mwahahahhaa....no Rex, why would we have to do that for you? We regularly whoop your ass with much less.

My God, that ego is getting inflated indeed. I guess you have to blow yourself up your own ass to the point of delusion to have the courage to sign up for seconds.

Takes a shot at Marrone: "This team deserves a loyal coach."

Marrone abandoned his staff of about 200 people to take a $4M "I'm out of here payout". He probably won't get a job this coming season. I am OK with that. You have to think abut the others that your decision effects. He thought he was a lock for a HC job, they are getting filled without his name.

Rex Ryan strikes me as Kenneth Cranham playing Jimmy Price in Layer Cake (nice little British gangsterish movie starring Daniel Craig for those who haven't seen it). Big personality who presents himself as a big dog but in reality, he's the class clown entertaining the big dogs around him.

Takes a shot at Marrone: "This team deserves a loyal coach."
Rex is a prototypical insecure guy with an inferiority complex. He can't talk about himself or his situation without taking potshots at colleagues ( this comment, kissing BB's rings, etc.) He's actually pathetic in a lot of ways. Terrific defensive coach, though.

I'm so tired of this blowhard.
True, but I hope he NEVER leaves the AFCE. I like the fact that he's a suck head coach.

Instead of just a Jets Suck thread, I'm wondering if we should have a Jets-Bills-Dolphins Suck thread.

Wouldn't be surprised to see @Buffalo next year in a prime time slot (TNF or MNF). . .

IF the Pats win the super bowl don't discount an opening night at home vs the Jills.

My God, this guy is a self-deluded piece of work.

How long before Bills fans and higherups get tired of going 6-10 every year with six wins coming by scores of 12-6, 9-3, 15-9, etc?? And by guaranteeing a Super Bowl every offseason? And the occasional WTF out-of-the-blue off-field incident? ("Hey, I did it to take tha heat off my goddamn players, ya know??")

I'm guessing halfway into year 2.

Rex is a better entertainer than a HC. He will attract FA that want to play an aggressive style. He hates the pats and circles the games on the calender and gets his teams to play better against us. I am not happy that he stayed in the east.

I thought they should have kept Marrone and fired the GM. How bad can the QB situation be? I guess we'll find out.

Ryan gave Bill's Org. & Fans lip service about how he's a Bill at heart, knows their history, Canada Blah Blah Blah! He could careless, he's just wanted to be in AFCE because he's hell bent with Pats 'cause he couldn't get it done with Jets.

Rex Ryan - SOB
Same Ole Bills

My guess is Wrecks thought the Bills were in the AFC South. He thought he was getting away from the Patriots domination. Oooooopsie

' the state of being seriously mentally ill; madness.' Nope i guess he isn't insane

Meh. Anything he says at the podium/on the radio now puts Bills fans in seats for the first year. With some success sprinkled in there it might extend to year 2. But (surprise surprise) I don't buy Rex's rosy outlook for Buffalo... and if things go the way they did in NY, he could always be remembered as the straw that broke Buffalo's back and forces the move to Toronto.

<Gumpism>
Stupid is as stupid does
</Gumpism>

then again Rex would probably want Gump as a kick returner.

True, but I hope he NEVER leaves the AFCE. I like the fact that he's a suck head coach.
Yeah, he just called the first time-out in the 2015 regular-season.
