Screw off Ray Lewis

Well, not surprised- saying this after his team gets booted.

Wonder if he confused Walt Anderson (ref for Sunday night) with Walt Coleman (tuck rule ref) and this is causing bad flashback for him.

doesn't make sense. Brady would be "unknown" with just two SB rings? WTF???

Mark Sanchez is fairly well known for his exploits on the field, and he didn't get a ring.

Well, maybe if he HAD gone to prison, he could've worked on getting his Communications Degree from the U and we would have all this confusion and misunderstanding cleared up.

Since it's clearly a "misspoke."

Extremely stupid comment. Especially since you can say Ray Lewis is only known/ wouldn't be here if he were justly put in jail for murder.

He's shown tons of respect for Brady in the past, but this was just an idiotic comment.

Not to stick up for a murdering bastard but I think his point was more so about the rules of the game not reflecting reality. He's saying the tuck rule was a fumble and Bryant's non catch was a catch. Bad choice of words, but this is a good example of media twisting things to sell headlines.
...........
Maybe he should have said "the Tuck rule is known because of Tom Brady". No, but he had to be a Richard. he's just pissed off because Flacco couldn't get enough under Thrown DPIs on us

This is the same Ray Lewis who was the main voice-over on Brady's 2010 #1 segment on the Top 100 NFL Players List. Lewis said that if someone told him Brady was the best player of all-time, he wouldn't argue.

Don't take this stuff too seriously.

Ray Lewis continues to be pretty stupid

If this was a media thing exclusively I would agree but he does deliberately go out of his way to try and stab Tom Brady, saying that he wouldnt be anything without the rule/call.

Who cares what Ray Lewis has to say about anything? I don't.

The more crying I hear the more I like it.

I think I know what he is implying. Lets play along without accepting what he is saying.

Brady loses the fumble, Raiders win that game. Next year, Bledsoe gets his job back? What happens to Brady? What has he really done for the Pats in the year 2002 in that scenario? After all, he lost a playoff game by fumbling.

Sometimes the difference between greatness of all time and being a nobody are that slim.
Brady could have become a career backup really.

I thought it might be out of context, but Steven A. asked for clarification and he doubled down. Because that was the "moment."

Ray is kind of stupid, every argument he made is nonsense in terms of the Dez catch. "I played this game". So did everyone else making the rule.

"You don't need the rules you just need to catch, possess, and control it." No s***, but you need to define possess and control the ball. Otherwise the term is meaningless. I think it was a catch too, but in order to make that case you have to define the line between an incomplete pass and a catch different then the NFL. And I can't do it, but at least I know that's what's needed.

Same with the tuck rule, you have to create a line between a pass and a fumble. It's not so simple as Ray thinks, he's just too stupid to realize that.

Brady has passed Bledsoe in camp that year (2001). BB just felt compelled to start Beldsoe because they just gave him a new contract and he was playing it safe as a new HC. Mostly because BB knew, as defensive guy, that you could easily game plan for Drew.

Why do you think Bledsoe never got his job back? If it didn't happen midway through 2001 due to Drew's play on the fields, Brady would have been the starting QB in 2002.

Dilfer said he was going to watch the game with Lewis...and its crazy to watch a game with him.... Lewis must have freaked out. Must have really hurt how they lost. And Belichick "tricking" Harbaugh..ouchhhhhh .

Anyway, good stuff to pump Brady even more.

Rather than sounding off here on the forum, let's just wait 20 years and go tell Ray himself. By that time he will certainly have lost the gig at ESPN and more than likely will have had the leeches he has surrounded himself with throughout his miserable excuse for a life take whatever money he manages to not blow all by himself. You can drive by whatever cardboard box he is calling home and shout it at him from your car window.
