Tom Brady says Brandon Lafell toughest player he's ever played with

I'm just really pumped to have him on our side.....

He plays the X-Factor when the D bottles up Edelman in the middle and double-jam the hell outta Gronk. Other teams have gotten used to just that in the playoffs the past few seasons.......now if we could get Tim Wright a lot more involved that will help

Is it crazy to think Wright is like a Super Bowl secret weapon? Feels a little like a stretch but I could see BB unleashing 2TE sets on Seattle unexpectedly. Might be more successful against Indy though... Seattle has the LBs and safeties that can cover the TEs.

He definitely has a strong possibility of being a secret weapon for whomever we face in the SB. I just think he has the ability to destroy defenses together with Gronk....maybe even better than Hernandez was because we've only seen teaser games showcasing his potential

Then again that's if we get to the Super Bowl and if Seattle beats GB.....those games still need playing and just hope that Indy doesn't get overlooked or a hangover effect from the Ratbirds

I don't think there's any way he's better than Hernandez. I think people forget how good Hernandez was because of his current situation... He was freakishly athletic. It's hard to say but I loved him as a player, I was this close to buying a Hernandez jersey before everything happened.

Anybody have a LaFell jersey yet?

Tim Wright is now the equivalent of Ocho Cinco. We're saving him for the Superbowl, baby!

Nah, I like Wright, I said it from day 1 of the trade though, expect nothing compared to his rookie season. He came here so late and has been learning on the fly. His 7 touchdowns are a complete shock, I expected half of his rookie season with a breakout coming next year. He's been awesome for the cards he was dealt.

LaFell is awesome though, I was sitting in my car during work when the draft was going on hoping we'd draft him that day, was upset Carolina got him (was higher on Golden Tate but wanted LaFell as the next guy after him).

Loved what he did for that pretty awful offense over the years, he always gave it everything in both the run and pass games as a blocker or receiver, usually with QB's who couldn't get him the ball.

Glad he's on our side now.

I thought the quote was "one of the toughest". That's still nice to hear, but it seems more realistic.

I said at the time this was the signing I was most pumped about. We were obviously all hyped for Revis, but I just had a sense from watching this guy run routes and some of the ridiculous grabs he had made previously that, with a better QB, he'd be a rising star.

I fully expect this guy to improve his role as the years progress...and earn a deserved extension.

There were a lot that felt he could even be camp fodder in Patriots Nation. If people studied tape carefully, then they would have seen that it was more a case of up-and-down QB play, than his route running abilities and smarts.

It is definitely a stretch, like Ochocinco having a breakout game. Well...not quite that big a stretch.

Public encouragement by the Greatest QB and Coach of all time, goes a long way in motivating players..

Go Jo Jo!!!..

Seemed like every time I went to TC he dropped at least 2-4 passes. I had flashbacks of Ocho Stinko for sure. So glad he "got it"...he saved their season.

Kinda scares me to wonder how really hurt he is. Shoulder, toe...

Regardless...hes making plays all over the field.

Every player is different. I remember Parcells saying Mark Bavaro didn't need any motivation- just encouragement and praise but Phil Sims needed constant needling get the best out of him.
