John Fox is out in Denver

I wonder if this means that Adam Gase will get the head coaching job?

In 3 seasons as the starting QB in Denver, Manning has 1 more win, and 2 more "One and done" seasons, than Tim Tebow accomplished in one season as the starter, despite being surrounded with much more talent. This is just part of the "9 one and dones" that is the Manning legacy.

Scapegoating the coach, and making him just the 9th HC to ever be fired after a 12 win season, while funny as hell, is just the sort of idiocy I'd expect a bad team executive to make.

And, Voila.....

You think Manning will retire now?

If they promote from within? No.
If the Broncos cut him? No.

But if they bring in another coach and don't offer to cut him I could see him being done. The only way I'd see him wanting to go in and learn an entirely new staff is if he is cut and his pride motivates him to prove he's still got it.

Whoever said that Mcdaniels would be the head coach in Denver LMFAO.
The owner hasn't changed and I'm sure Josh will not go to a place that ran him out.
I would be shocked I think it would rip a hole in the space time continuum.
Its Either Gase or I would say Quinn.

In 2012 they go 13-3 and lose a game when PM throws a moronic pick however are in a bad defense allowing the Jacoby Jones catch.

A year later they finish 13-3 and go to SB and face a top 10 defense of all-time. Outdoors..

This year they finish 12-4 with a 38 year old Qb who was hurt.

I don't think Fox is the best coach in the world but hes not the worst.

Something happened behind the scenes.

@RapSheet: The #49ers are expected to meet with and make a final push for #Broncos OC Adam Gase tonight, source said.

Haha!

Josh is not going to DEN b/c of Elway but the owner, Pat Bowlen has Alzheimer's and is no longer CEO.

It can't be Josh I'm guessing.
Quinn makes sense if he dares to enter dysfunction junction.
Josh has more sense.

Even if Manning's decline had to do with bein injured a month or so, injured, healthy I don't see PM bein a threat anymore. If he couldn't get it done with all his weapons and a decent Def if never will, Plus there will be changes with FA on Broncos. Key players could be gone as well.

Agreed. Even before Manning's injury which supposedly happened vs San Diego - the Broncos had to play the Seahawks and Patriots in the regular season. Those are 2 teams they would likely have to beat later (in January, February) in order to win a SuperBowl. What happened in those games? They lost both. I know that doesn't guarantee they would lose the second time around but when you go "all-in" like they did, you should win at least 1 of those games and definitely not get blown out.

No he isn't; VERY overrated. He's a smarmy used-car salesman who sat in his easy chair smoking stogies and reading the newspaper while Del Rio and Forehead Omaha ran the team. The Tebow machinations came from his offensive coordinator and they won games DESPITE Tebow, not because of him. I'd be surprised if Fox lands another head coaching job.
I would be surprised if he lands one THIS offseason, but NFL owners keep giving former head coaches with any success chance after chance.

Wow. The guy gets the Donkeys to the divisional round with creative personnel management in 2011 after a 4-12 season, and averages more than 12 wins for 3 straight years and gets canned.

As they won't be bringing in Harbaugh, it will be interesting to see who does take that helm. The guy has found his way to the title game twice, so this seems like a bad idea by Denver.

Well, time for Brady to own Luck for a couple more years and then for Jimmy G to take over the beatdown duties for a decade.

RIP Obnoxious Denver Juggernaut Team 2012-2014
