What I find funny about the play is every time they have asked Brady about an Edelman trick play in the past Brady made fun of Edelman's ability to throw. Guess Brady owes someone an apology.

It's good to know that the Pats are actually carrying three quality quarterbacks.

Edelman's throw was a strike. Loved it

All the "Brady is gonna' be released" trolls are quiet tonight.

If I were Edelman (or Garoppolo, for that matter), I'm pretty sure I'd be having dreams where I had to fill in for Brady in the Super Bowl.

Welker wouldn't make that throw anywhere near as well as Jewels.

Welp, that's more career TD passes than Johnny Manziel.

Give Brady that clean a pocket and he throws pretty well too.

One thing about that play -- the Ravens defense seemed messed up no matter what the Pats did. IIRC, there was one Raven on that side of the field, being blocked by Gronk. So if Edelman had chosen to run with the ball rather than throw it, he might have done pretty well too -- probably not a TD, but at least a 10-20 yard gain.

Am I the only one who kinda hoped they ran it again, but this time JE runs with the ball as Gronk plowed a way downfield ?

I'd generally like to see more of the swing passes Brady threw early in his career, especially against teams whose interior defense is hard to run against.

I've always wanted to see JE throw a pass, but I couldn't imagine a time where Brady wouldn't be on the field. What a gift!

The tv screen ticker on NFL Network shows: J. Edelman Rec 8 Yds 74 ... Where's the love?! Should say:

J. Edeldude 1/1 Yds 51 TD 1 INT 0 QBR: 158.3, Rec 8 Yds 74

Welker might have dropped it.
