NFL Division Round Playoff games

Just getting in from going the movies with my wife, anybody care to sum up the game in a few sentences?
Cowboys dominating. Rodgers affected by his injury. Refs helping the Pack keep the game close going into half time with ******** completed pass call that kept the drive alive, when it was clearly incomplete for the whole world to see.

I think yours is already perked, all your blood isn't upstairs ;)

Rogers just not the same with the injury

Rogers just not the same with the injury

That and his team seems to keep deteriorating around him. Honestly reminds me of Tom and the Pats about 2 years ago. They've got to do something about their personnel on both sides of the ball.

Why? Steve Young wouldn't have been Steve Young without his scrambling ability, same for Elway, and we wouldn't have won yesterday's game without Tom scrambling for our first TD. Even TB is a better QB this year with him scrambling more.

Brady isn't known or even scrambles much. Just rare moments where he could get the td. But Rodgers is lauded as the best qb because he can be a pocket passer and great mobility. Well when he has to be a pocket passer he can't get it done. Missing receivers and passes. I know he is injured but still. Great ones take adversity in stride. Rodgers isn't. Even toms high ankle sprain in 07 sb, it never stopped him and he made a great drive at the end. Rodgers clearly imo isn't the best qb and relies on his scrambling ability too much

Not a CHANCE they can overturn that.

So the booth reviews are really becoming a joke now. I guess they have their argument against reviewing penalties. Why even bother slowing the game down more, if they're going to call it how they want anyway, with clear evidence staring us all in the face, and not give a flying **** if we get pissed.

A SuperBowl needs to be ruined by bad officiating to get any real changes too take place.

You can't expect him to default to pure pocket passer when in his entire career, scrambling has been such a huge part of his game, and even so, I still think he's playing good enough to win. I don't agree that makes him less of a QB. Seems more of a homer argument to be honest. That's like expecting Tom or any other QB to be as good at dissecting defenses when concussed. Or Manning to throw the same, with clear nerve damage. His calf will heal. Is Brady less of a QB if you know you can't make him succeed running a spread option style offense?

If you want to make an argument from a passing standpoint, yeah he may not be as good of a pure passer in the pocket. But as a QB, there's more to it than just passing, and scrambling is definitely part of the package for some. You can still be the best QB without being the best pure pocket passer. Not saying that's the case here, just saying, that's possible.

You guys seem to be taking that argument down that road...best QB= best pure pocket passer, in which case, I'd have to objectively give it to Manning. But we all know, best QB, means the entire package, with all the intangibles, leadership, intelligence, clutch gene, and yeah with things such as scrambling or rushing abilities as well.

Out of all the QB's wearing #12 after Tom, I'm happy with Rodgers being that guy.

WOW what a turn!

I thought Murrary was about to run for six, instead a fumble recovered by GB

What's the deal with the top rushers every year always having a lot of fumbles? (Murray, Peterson)
Is it just because of the amount of carries they get thus increasing the chances?

HUGE penalty on T.J. Lang. Likely cost the Packers 4 points.

richardson is a healthy scratch for colts...god does he suck
