Harbaugh keeps using the word "DECEPTION" during his Press conference

Not surprising, but Florio is really running this with his typical anti-Patriot agenda, and duplicitous method. Every couple of hours he writes a post with tabloid sensational headlines, implying another Patriot spygate like conspiracy. Then burying at the end of the article he covers his butt by adding something to the effect of, "but it's probably legal and the Pats were just being smart,"

The is a word for some someone who instigates issues when he knows there are none. I can't quite get it. Maybe someone can help.
****-stirrer.

It's only legal if you lay down in the endzone and pretend you're part of the grass (lol)

Just watching ESPN and they said the league office said the play was legal. End of story.

On #Patriots/#Ravens: Baltimore’s main complaint was not that the play was illegal. It wasn’t. They didn’t think they got enough notice.

Sorry John. Time waits for no one. There is a play clock for the offense, but the Patriots should have slowed down to give Baltimore more time to figure out how to play defense.

Good lord this guy is dumb.

Jills fans crying foul play.

- Didn't the Patriots just hand them their first win ever at Gillette (basically their Super Bowl) during that play to stay healthy pre-season game a few weeks ago? Thought for sure that would shut their not so intelligent fans up until at least April when they start talking about taking over the division (again).

Learn the rules haters!

They're just getting themselves worked up into mode for their Rex Ryan era.

Jets fans are emailing them all the instruction manuals as we speak.

Can understand John Harbaugh's frustration at wanting more time from officials, but from this view, no different than declaring OL eligible

What made it unique is that when a defense sees 34 (Vereen) split out wide, even when announced ineligible, natural instinct is to cover him

Referee Bill Vinovich couldn't have been more clear in announcing at stadium that certain receivers were ineligible and not to cover them.

See it more about outside-the-box thinking than any deceptive substitution. Clearly within rules. Forced D to react to something different.

If only there was something Harbaugh or his players could have done to stop the game if they were confused. Something that would have given them some time to figure things out. I guess the competition committee will have to look at that in the offseason.

Not only did the officials announce who was eligible/ineligible, at one point they announced to the entire stadium that the defense shouldn't cover Vereen. How much more help did Baltimore need?

Yep, and the refs went as far as specifically saying over the PA "DO NOT COVER #34" or whoever it was reporting as ineligible.

Luckily for us, the Ravens team is too dumb in general to understand the rules. But that's why the Pats did something like this. Take advantage of a teams weakness, like being filled with dumb players.
Fans in my section were mocking mcd saying great keys tell them who not to cover that will help a lot.

What I saw though was what vereen did.
He stepped back to take a bubble screen. That means if the ravens reacted by ignoring him which is what I would have guessed they would do Brady throws it to him. 2 blockers vs 2 defenders.

Maybe, the refs could have adjusted the defensive scheme? You know told the individual players where to go too?

It's hilarious. Harbaugh should be mocked for being so inept and getting out smarted so badly. No wonder he is complaining and passing the blame off to the refs. When you don't know the rules, you need to deflect blame otherwise you could face consequences.

It truly is embarrassing when a head coach doesn't actually know the rules, especially the basic ones.

We should all make a collection, and send Harbaugh a copy of the NFL rules book.
Good reading in bed while he is watching the AFC title game, next week.

He's ineligible for a bubble screen unless it's a lateral. Vereen would have had to come back a long way for that to happen, since he started on the line of scrimmage and Brady starts in the backfield.

I thought his step back was just being smart, so there's 0% chance the crying ratbirds could accuse him of being downfield illegally.

It's clear that Harbaugh wanted to throw all the fault for the loss on the Patriots cheating. He's such a gigantic douchebag it almost defies description.

Saying things in the heat of the moment I can understand. It happens.

The problem is that hes now on record for making more than a couple of condescending remarks about the organization's accomplishments and how is plays the game.

Screw him.

Harbaugh is a whiner and as arrogant as his brother. He will never admit getting OUT COACHED. No humility.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh believes that the New England Patriots are not ready for the physical challenge of his side in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs.

The Ravens outbattled the Pittsburgh Steelers to set up the match against Bill Belichick's men.

Harbaugh is quoted by NFL Network as saying: "The Patriots don't understand what kind of game they're about to get into."

Baltimore have beaten New England twice at Gillette Stadium in three post-season matches.
