Buffalo Bills hire Rex Ryan as head coach

From one bust QB from the 2013 draft to another. Two very similar teams in terms of the way they're built although there's a better secondary and receivers at the Bills. But no first round pick for Rex to enjoy.

We got a full offseason to worry (?) about what Rex can do with the Bills. It will be an interesting offseason to watch.. curious what their plan at QB is..

I just texted a buddy of mine who's a Bills fan with the news. I eagerly await his response.

If this happens, then we know what to expect in March: "The Bills will win the Super Bowl this year." We also know what to expect in December: the Bills will mis the playoffs.

The birthday presents keep coming!

The more things change the more they stay they same. Good D, good RBs, **** QBs. That's the formula Rex.

This morning BB sips his coffee thinking "so you're back for some more ass whoopin huh?"...

I did the same. He is pretty pumped. Secretly loved the guy was the text I received

How hard do you think they'll pursue Jay Cutler now?

Oh please, please bring Cutler to Buffalo. You think that Josh doesn't know exactly what kind of a QB he is? It'll be Chicago 2.0, Deja Vu all over again. :)

Truthfully, it's a great defensive move for Ryan but he's proven to be bereft of ideas outside of running the football. He's blown his wad at the Bills D forgetting, as per usual, it's only one side of football.

Unless the Bills can find a QB, they're not going anywhere. If they can find a QB and Ryan installs a fine offensive mind as their OC, they may prove to be problematic.

I've been a Rex supporter but what an idiot. He pretty much left a situation for a clone of the same crappy situation. You have no QB and an organization that's been shown again and again to just not get it. I don't see why he wouldn't wait for the Atlanta gig or SF and if it doesn't work out do a year broadcasting.

He is going to have the same problem he had with the Jet a decent defense but no QB. And Ryan as we all know can't develope a QB.

I think Mark Sanchez is a free agent, maybe they'll get the band back together so to speak.
