9th AFCCG in Brady's 13 seasons with the Pats (2001, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014). Only seasons he missed were 2002 (no playoffs) and divisional losses in 2005, 2009 and 2010.

Not that I'm jusging greatness on how many title games a quarterback makes, but that is an amazing feat. Its going to suck once He's gone.

Some quick thoughts.

#1 No matter who we play the Pats are going to need to be concerned about their QB
#2 We get an extra day of rest
#3 Browner seems to think he will be okay

And most importantly

#4 Stork appears like he hurt himself pretty good and while IDK if he will be back for the SB I doubt very much he will play in the AFCCG.

The good news is Kline filled in for him (or rather filled in for Connolly who filled in for him) and looked okay actually. If he plays like that again I will not be overly concerned provided the Pats keep doing the short passes and getting the ball out fast a lot.

Personally now I have a very strong preference to play the Colts as I would rather not face an over sized DT cause the middle of our line looks small without Stork.

Edit: Also the fact is the Pats played both these teams before and though the Broncos changed a bit (with Anderson balling) I think familiarity is overall a good thing for the Patriots.

They should be able to use that well as I think they are better than both and a good match up for both. Also I expect the D to play a LOT better the rest of the way.

GOAT

Neither team matches up as well against us as Baltimore.

If it's Indy, we gash them witth Blount Force Trauma and Gray.

If It's Denver, we stop the run and make Peyton throw interceptions to our DBs all night.

Then we're on to Arizona.

I feel like playing at 6:40pm is more of an advantage for the home team than playing at 3pm. It will be completely dark (plus colder) by then which gives it even more of a primetime feel.

Though as a fan I prefer 3pm, oh god that wait is going to feel so long....

With today's win, Brady, in his 15th NFL season, and the 14th since becoming a starter, is 19-8 in the playoffs, and will be going to the AFCCG for the 9th time.

As of today, Peyton Manning is 11-12 in the postseason.

As of today, Tom Brady has been to the AFCCG just two fewer times than Peyton Manning has won a playoff game.

Next Sunday looks to be warm...mid 40s and only in the 20s for a low. Weather will be fine....my wish of a blizzard for manning isn't coming true..

Prediction: we blow out whichever team is unfortunate enough to advance.

Hopefully stork and browner are good to go next week. Gonna need them
