He has been clutch all season when it's mattered most. And you all wanted him cut!

He was man of the match for us today, 2-3 very importent 1 Downs. 2 TD and general fine kick returns, way to step up when it matters.

Happy for him and he was clutch today. Still hope he takes a pay cut lol

Won us 2 Jets games this year and now this. I have been defending him all season getting in multiple battles with multiple posters. I think someone owes me an apology.

A lot of the people on this forum who have been ****ting on him should go fak yourselves.

Actually, I posted that I thought Amendola was going to make 2-3 big plays in the game and I was right!

Refuse to go there. Welker was one of the greatest Patriots EVER.

They don't get to the playoffs without him over and over again.

And I'm one of the biggest DA fans on this board!

I've **** on Amendola more than any poster on this board. The kid has turned a corner though, Belichick putting him at KR has given him opportunity to get going and he has built on that. Tonight was easily his best game as a Patriot and we would not be going to the AFCCG if he wasn't on this team tonight. I'm not sure what his future is but I would welcome a return in 2015.

I've called repeatedly for his release, trade, etc.

That bit of business out of the way, he BALLED today. Mad respect both for him in the kickoff game (he netted yards every time) and the passing game. (I think he even got robbed on that one catch by the officials.)

DA was great today.

I made a strong prediction that there would be a big game from one of LaFell/Wright/Amendola, and a weak prediction that it specifically would be Amendola.

I agree Welker deserves a lot more respect from the fans and posters. He dropped one pass and it was a big play, huge even but we would not have been in that situation to even lose the SB if not for Wes Welker. Amendola was huge today, has had big contributions in the past 3 games, he is doing well, I'm baking crow as we speak but Welker was one of the best players of the Belichick era.
