How you can rule that as a fumble on the field when it's clear to all and sundry but the officials that Vereen's knees and elbow were down before the ball even begins to move simply boggles the mind.

Elbow was debatably down before the ball came loose. Knee was 100%, without a doubt, completely down before the ball came loose
