Chris Johnson may have just given the the incoming Jets GM an excuse to cut him:

PFT has confirmed a report that Johnson was arrested on Friday for open carrying of a firearm, a second degree misdemeanor.

A league source tells PFT that Johnson does have a license to carry in Florida. But this arrest wasn’t just for carrying, it was for open carrying.

It's remarkable to consider that while one of the best games of recent memory was going on, the Jets were still continuing to suck, Wrex was a front runner for the Bills job and Tannenbaum was working his "magic' in Miami. We are so blessed in NE!

I'm pretty sure McCagnan was brought up when Woody, Ron Wolf, and Casserly interviewed Dan Quinn. From what I've read he's a well respected scout and it looks like we'll be bringing a cap guy along with him. The key is to get a GM and coach who can work together.
