Anyone Else Really Nervous?

This game will be like the others, running just to keep the other team honest. Both teams are going to have to throw the ball to win, question is, which QB will have their A game? I'm pretty confident in our guy. One thing I never liked was having a bye week, not that we get them anyhow. Just feels like it takes time to get the rust off, and sometimes its to late before you do.

Flaccos last 5 playoff games his QB rating is like over 100...but that won't go on forever. We have the better QB and better weapons.

I don't fully agree there. I think Brady has the better weapons this yr. He can be less than perfect and still be OK. I could be wrong of course. Ravens did shred a nasty 49er D in the SB but that was on neutral turf with Rice and Bolden and Pitta. I have yet to have someone explain logically how Ravens attack this D.

I don't get it... Ravens last Six games:

L: SD 34-33
W: MIA 28-13
W: Jax 20-12
L: Hou 25-13
W: Cle 20-10
W: Pit 30-17

I'm sorry but this is down right ridiculous. The Pats win this by 14+ it will never be in doubt.
I've never understood why people think because a team does this or that, that it will be the same result next game. I could easily say you guys were 3-2 in your last 5 games and only beat one team with a winning record, but I know better. We lost 4 of our last 5 before the playoffs our SB year. Don't judge a book by its cover. Have a good night guys and get some sleep if you can, Lol. Tommorows game day, i'll start getting anxious around 2pm.

Plays happen, I think you'll see the Ravens spread you guys out with 4 wides and force your #3 and 4 Db's to cover our 3-4 receivers. We have two guys I hope play in Aiken and Campanaro, both have great hands and wheels, but are rookies. I don't think you'll see just both Smiths going out for passes. Plus alot of bunch formations with rubs. Kubiak has a big play book to work with and I don't think you will see a conventional Ravens offense for the entire game.

I hope the ravens spread us out. With our depth at CB that would be playing into our hand. Ravens arnt a spread O so I do hope they do this.

I'm pretty terrified for this game, but that is because of past history. I don't think that has much bearing on this game though, as the two teams are much different than in the past. These Patriots are very good, but recent struggles have clouded a lot of people's judgment. The Ravens are not a good team. The regular season was a struggle for them and I am skeptical of hero Flacco, even though the evidence is pretty undeniable. Regardless, I expect a W, and really hope it happens.

Two things haven't changed in the past 5 years, the QB's. Lets see how history plays out tommorow.

They don't have The Pollard Devil so Gronk will be OK.

I predict Edelman is the one they will go after. The way he fights for extra yards, and his short stature to begin with, he opens himself up to the head shots.

Ok we lost to the Packers in GB in a close game with playoff implications for both. We lost to the Bills in a game that meant nothing. Ah all five of your regular season games against teams with a losing record or 500 were all playoff games. Not quiet the same. Wanna go week for week? Ok.. the pathetic NFC South says hi. Bottom line your team is not good. You beat nothing all year, and you will beat nothing tomorrow. It was a good year for a team in transition, CJ is a damn stud and should carry on the tradition. But it won't be this year.

41-7 in Baltimore.... much closer in time than 2012. but hey.....

I think we're gonna lose and it's gonna break my heart. Could be the worst loss since losing to the Jets in the 2010-11 season

I'm not nervous at all.

It may sound ****y but I have absolute confidence in my television watching abilities. So if the Patriots somehow fail tomorrow it will all be on them. I know I will,

Do

My

Job

Kitten?

"I think we're gonna lose" from a fan of the 1-seed playing at home.. Give me a freakin' break..

Yeah, because only....50 percent of all #1 seeds have lost in the first game (divisional round) since 2005, so like, it's practically guaranteed, right?

;)

For the record, I think we're winning this game--pulling away in the 3rd quarter or so.

I predict a game that goes down to the final 2 minutes, where we emerge triumphant.

I also predict that the O-line won't play like it did against OAK or KC, but it will struggle a great dal. As a result, people will be spending next week fretting over the prospect of stopping Denver's D-line again, and some of the less rational people on this board will start hyping said line up as "the toughest line we've played against all year". Alternatively, if Flacco puts up a strong game, the anxiety will be "how will we stop Manning and all his weapons, we have no pass rush?" The same concerns will apply even if we face Luck instead. So basically, barring a dominating performance on our end, anxiety is gonna pervade until we are either knocked out or we take home the Lombardi. For my sanity's sake, as well as the rest of this board's, I pray it's the later.

This game will be close for a while and then the Pats will outclass with the Ravens with their talent, depth, and class. T-Sizzle will whine his way back to Baltimore and the Pats will be on to another AFC Title Game after a 31-13 victory. The 2nd half will belong to the Pats.

I anticipate a spirited performance out of Tom F. Brady.

As long as I do my ritual listening to "I'm shipping up to Boston" a few times right before the game I usually feel pretty good. :)
