Agree.

Today's article in the WSJ labelled him "King of Playoffs".

His impressive playoff record (10-4) is the best among active QBs.

What is more stunning: he has 7 roadwins.

Second is Brees with 5-3, with one road win. Brady is 4-5, with zero road wins. To give Brady company, we have Peyton with identical stats as Brady. :D

As impressive as it is, I really don't care as long as Brady hoists the SB end of the season. :)

Common theme: Every team/QB ahead of Brady & Manning had a defense which could stop people. Even NO during their SB run for a period of time could stop teams.

I still don't miss Mankins. I feel that he came up small in big games and that he gave Brady a false sense of security.

While that may be true on some level, I still think that a piece of nastiness left with him--which is all that I really was referring to.

I do like the trade, even though I did not initially like the timing of it at first.

No but you sure speak a lot of it here

In all seriousness---why don't you stick around this week and have some decent conversations about the ins/outs of the matchup? We all certainly welcome that here, and welcome you personally.

If you're just going to be another troll from the opposition who's choosing to get into name calling and pissing matches, then we see that every week--and about 80% of the time it doesn't work out too well for said troll.

Let me get the ball rolling....How do feel your team's offense matches up with the N.England defense, which looks to be much improved on the recent matchups in 2011 and 2012? I think the BAL defense obviously poses a challenge to Brady and our offense.

Then perhaps you should be concerned that the Patriots managed to secure home field advantage without "BRADY-like" performances from their QB, no?

Namely, a defense that quietly managed to prevent opponents from scoring touchdowns in the second halves of their last eight games, or thereabouts.

You may have to pray for another week of non "BRADY-like" play from #12, because chances are that may be the Ravens only hope of winning this Saturday.
Ummm

Playing the Jets, Bills and Miami 2x a year.. YES PLEASE!!!

They also played the Colts, Packers, Lions, and Chargers after the bye, all on the road except for the Lions matchup. The most they gave up was 26 points in a narrow loss to the Packers... in Lambeau (who were held without a touchdown in the second half).

But of course you left those teams out off your list (including a Chargers team that came back to torch the Raven's defense in Baltimore not too long ago).

I guess the 18 guys we have on IR. Most of the listed above is nothing more than excuses.

The topic is trying to make sense of Flacco's recent playoff success and to look at each game's own set of circumstances.

18 players on IR is a large amount for sure. Pats in the early 2000s were always in double-digits in guys on IR. They still won b/c they had a defense, depth and a QB that didn't need to carry the team. That is what Flacco has been doing

You play with what you got, either your good enough to over come and win or you don't. That is part of the game. Forrsett was a 6 team journeyman that was about to quit football. Our secondary has MANY on IR.

Besides Smith, every other Db is a part-timer and Smith is not at Talib's level.

What does Forrsett have to do with this discussion?

Big Ben smoke that secondary for 6 touchdowns not that long ago. But did he this past week. Nope

BAL did not shut down Ben. C'mon now. Bell not playing killed that offense.

Next Man Up, has and will always be the Ravens way of football. Can you make it or not.

Next man up is a good mantra - as long as you have the players who produce.

First off lets talk about the little group of words you have put together up above. Where did I name call?

I think NE defense will be more of a challenge then that past. But I think our DL matching up to your OL is where this game is played. Suggs and doom on the outside and Williams and Ngata in the center will wreak havoc on the OL. Not to mention we are very deep on the front 7. They can rotate all day.

We all know what happens to even the best QB's once they take a few licks.

Well that maybe true in some ways. Just as it is to say Brady has not been all that BRADY-like since the bye week. Only 1 rating above 100.

I mean career wise not a small sample size of 4-5 games per se. And the Ravens as a team have been really inconsistent. I and you as well have no clue if the team that beat Pitt shows up or the one that lost to Houston will. Hence this game is difficult to even gauge.

Bell is an excuse.

If you think that we did not shut Ben down, then after the game ask Brady thinks of our front 7.

I respectfully disagree. Bell is a huge part of their O. Not saying the final result would have been different but it was a material loss for them.

Bell is an excuse.
Its a fact that he didn't play and Bell not playing impacted the outcome of the game.

Just like the Pats last year. 1/2 the team was out and they still made it to the AFCCG. Does a healthy Gronk, Wilfork, Mayo and Talib make a difference vs DEN? Absolutely.

If you think that we did not shut Ben down, then after the game ask Brady thinks of our front 7.

Not really interested in going back and forth on trash talk.

If you want to debate on the unsaid reasons why Flacco has won his last few playoff games than I'd be happy to.

LeGarrette's getting 150 rushing yards just wait on it

This thread is about Flacco. I do not fear Flacco or the Ravens offense. It is their DL against our OL that is going to be the test. Hopefully BB comes up with a good plan or we're are going to win this game the hard way.

Lmao. WTF are you talking about. My panties did not get bunched up. Yours seemed to be wadded and tightly pulled. I was addressing another poster making a comment about JF not being a real QB.
Ok pal. Find some other 13 years old to talk to about your panties.

Oh boy. Here we go. The ratbirds bravado from their site finally spills over. I do believe they have taken first place of the latest chest pounding idiots. I've been lurking their boards. The Pats fans have been civil. But the attacks were bound to boil over. One big win and they are world beaters. Hey ravens fans. Your done. See you next year.

You know, you go on a Ravens site and you'd have been banned for half of what these trolls have been doing. Trolling. Nothing else

I'll never understand why someone from another fanbase decides to join an opposing teams fan forum to talk ****. get the **** out of here dude, have some self respect because we all know you are not going to be around if the pats win. people like you make me hate the internet.
