It's pretty simple really, if you can't beat the 6th seeded Baltimore Ravens (who had a cake schedule and only beat two playoff teams: the Steelers and Panthers, lol) at HOME, then you had absolutely no shot against Seattle on a neutral field.
The game simply comes down to 0ur OL vs. their DL. If Stork contains Nagta and Solder does a reasonable job against Suggs, Brady can pick their secondary apart. I see no reason to fear the Ravens offense, especially with Revis on our side and Collins covering their TE Daniels. Hopefully Chandler Jones gets to school their undrafted rookie O-Lineman, like James Harrison did tonight for a little while, until old age crept in. Only concern is Browner being flagged down field, but I would hope that there's constant safety help throughout.
Oh and a little food for thought: the Ravens have NEVER beat a Patriots team on the road with a healthy Rob Gronkowski on the field. NEVER. The only time they've beaten a Pats team with Gronk suited up, was that awful road game in 2012, where Gronk was working his way back from injury, on a limited snap count and thus was only targeted three times. And even then, the Ravens only won 31-30 when the Replacement Refs (remember them?) deemed a clearly missed field goal as good.
In other words, let's not get our panties in a bunch just because the Ravens are coming to town......It's always nice to get a cupcake opponent in the divisional round, but as we Pats fans have seen the last several years, that doesn't exactly prepare you for when you have to face the cream of the crop.
I'm excited to see us draw Baltimore. Beat them, get revenge for 2012, beat Denver in the AFCCG, get revenge for last year, then beat either Seattle or Green Bay and get revenge on a previous regular season loss. Works for me.
