Clearly separated at birth.

It's not like their names are on the back of their jerseys or they are assigned numbers, what do you expect. Easy mistake to make. I constantly confuse Brady with Danny Aiken.

LOL! If nothing else, the #71 on his shoulder in the photo kinda makes it obvious.

Why should I be surprised? It's the Globe.

The story in your link has a picture of Cannon - and it's a solid story.

Run of the mill screw-up. Last week, a Detroit paper ran a story about Jim Harbaugh possibly taking the Michigan job but used a picture of his brother John. You could really tell because he was wearing a Ravens hat.

Fact checkers (as well as the game of checkers) are a thing of the past.
Well, they are mostly opinion pieces these days anyhow. Who needs facts when you can quote unnamed sources within the organization without having to back anything up.

Yep, they've already corrected it. (The picture was online only, it was never part of the print story.) The whole thing screams "skeleton staff on New Year's Day" to me.

Nah, nevermind, there's a Great Baseball Conspiracy! ;)

I thought it was a Globe conspiracy, but I can live with a GBC also.

On the topic of the article they point out how most NFL people wanted to move him to guard because of his size. But so far he has played much better at tackle than he has at guard and that is despite being given the chance to be the starting guard this year.

Of course, by the paper that HELD the story in 2007, while Tomase printed it in the Herald.

The Globe/Herald fan war is all about the ownership of talk radio. Insidious crapfest all around.
