Best Clint western for sure. Not sure about GoAT. High Noon, The Searchers, Butch Cassidy...lots of great ones.

To me it is. I was just in awe as the story unfolded, you think you have met the bad guys only to find out they are the 'least" bad guys.

Certainly top 5 Film Noir type movie.

"Don't worry, kid. I wont kill you. You're the only friend I got.".

BTW, can I just say that I am surprised that no one's mentioned Mystic River as one of the best directed films.. Eastwood did a helluva job with that, imho.

"Mystic River" was teh wicked pissah awesome!!!

You can't compare greatness from one era to the next. Look at the equipment a modern sniper has over a sniper from the past. Then there's the uneven playing field. Past snipers didn't have a desert to work in.

As for Clint, he's one of the best. We'll miss him when he's gone.

Totally agree with the above. Kyle was a hero using the best sniper rifle with long range skill and accuracy.
A good documentary to watch would be " Inside the Crosshairs". Carlos Hathcock, USMC, had 93 confirmed kills in the jungles of Nam. He was known as White Feather by the NV for the feather he wore in his helmet just to taunt them. They had a bounty on Carlos's head. He shot the top NV Sniper through the eye as he was zeroing in on Hatchcock thru his sniper scope.

...that Clint is still baddestass on the planet even into his late 70's and now mid 80's.

I had no idea that he was quite that old. I would've probably guessed early to mid 70s....that how "out of it" I am.

He looks pretty darn good for turning 85 this coming May! Wow....

I must be in the minority regarding Unforgiven. I thought it a bit slow-moving, and it's not like
Munny, Logan & the Kid were rescuing widows & orphans.
I'm not saying that I didn't like it, or that it wasn't good, because I did and it was. I just wouldn't
place it in my personal pantheon of Clint movies.

There is no wrong taste in movies. I can see how some think it's slow moving.

Hell, after the ball dropped and kids and wife fell asleep I watched "Airplane" and was happy as a clam in sand.

Bradley cooper is a very talented actor who gets underrated because he's a pretty boy. One of the best performances I've seen in years

I wonder if the guys are tired of watching war movies. No variety or something a little less serious.

I would love to see the media response if BB took the Pats to see "Maid in Manhattan"

If Clint Eastwood calls you on your office phone or cell and says, "hey, wanna watch my movie?" you say, "umm, **** yeah."

Meanwhile in Jetsland sexy rexy took his Jets team to a special screening of FIFTY SHADES OF GREY
