I thought Chung had no business on the roster.

Woof.

Hey! Joe Kerr!! C'mon out! Where are ya??? Joe???....*tap* *tap* *tap*.....

Guess Joker ain't here...:(

I thought Dobson and Boyce would break out, especially Boyce. He did finally get a few snaps with the second stringers sunday

Yes. Your team's owner said that in a press conference today.

FAIL

Ive met Steve Grogan at Bryant college. Been a NE fan since those days and before. Your love for Mcourty has blinded you.

1. I loathed the Chung and Wendell re-signings, and my main goal entering the season was to keep them off the field.

2. I thought at least 1 of Dobson/Thompkins/Boyce would break out and have a successful year.

3. I thought Marcus Cannon would succeed at LG.

4. I wasn't sure that Dont'a Hightower was a good fit for the defense, and wondered whether he would earn a 5th year option/2nd contract.

5. I thought Deus would admit he was wrong about something for once. Just kidding.

1.) Our LB would be exposed without Mayo - Although I also had no idea we would trade for two guys
2.) Dobson - I even drafted him on my fantasy team
3.) Lafell - thought he would be another failed vet receiver to not make it through training camp..

Now that I'm reading...

4. Thought Hightower should have been moved to DE full time. He grew into his role at LB nicely. He still has his limitations, but he's been better used this year, probably due to how creative Belichick and Patricia can get now that the team has Revis.

5. Thought James White would be a breakout weapon out of the backfield. I realized I was probably going to be wrong on that one immediately in the preseason.

6. Said the Saints were going to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

I had them 11--5, which was really two games off since we all know that the way they're playing they would have beaten Buffalo on Sunday to finish 13--3 if they had to win the game.

How'd I get to 11--5?

When I looked at the schedule in August and thought about the team, I had them going 4--2 in the CIN, DEN, IND, DET, GB and SD games (as we all know, they went 5--1).

I also thought they would (really) lose two division games (one blocked FGA away on that one).

I figured there would be one random non-division loss, for which KC obliged.

I will take credit for adapting on the fly, though, as I think I'm now #2 or 3 in Alamo's contest.

.... thought Garapollo looked awful, like he didn't belong out there in training camp
.... and for the 50th time after a few real games I realized that drawing conclusions about the team in pre-season is utter folly. I do know that I will make this exact same mistake next summer.

I thought Chung had no business on the roster.

Woof.

The funny thing is I said before the season that I thought Chung would be effected as a situational run support safety playing about 10-15 plays a game. And people called me crazy. And yet, he even exceeded my expectations.

I was wrong thinking the team would be 9-7. I made this prediction after the KC game.

Glad I was wrong. They definitely look like SB contenders right now.

Amendola would increase his production numbers from last year

Dennard would start the first 4 games, and then be used situationally with Browner

Cannon would be capable at guard (although I was talking about right guard, not left, it's close enough)

Baby steps, Deus baby steps.. we'll get to the Collins thing in another session. ;)

Thought the Pats would come out of this year with both guard spots locked up long term with young players.

Thought Brandon Browner would be matched up against receiving tight ends more. Instead, that's been Chung.

Thought Tim Wright would have 40-45 catches or so. Instead he's at 26.

In Bill I trust ... no confession needed.

" You call yourself out all you want, Clarrisse...I ain't goin' in there...."

I think i also said Jones would be around 18 sacks this year...obliviously injury played a part..but not even close..

Maybe next year

What i want to know is..how many people here called "gronk would get hurt again" but aren't owning up to it!?

I thought Chung had no business on the roster.

God same here. Didn't think he would last even before preseason games. But he has been SOOO much better his second time around with us. What i wanted him to be when he came here..( well i expected a lot more) but i will take it
