Bills QB Kyle Orton retires

That's leaving on a high note, beating the Pats in Foxbrough, while giving up $5.5M as a backup maybe.

He will never get the chance here, TFB health willing
Trade him
(Not that for a nanosecond do I think the Williams will give us a #1, my price)

do the bills even have a first this year? didn't they trade it for watkins.

They did trade it away for Watkins.

The Bills do not have a first round pick this year they traded it to move up last year

lol at the fred jackson tweet

We'd be kicking ourselves in the ass for a long time if we did that. This kid is going to be great I can feel it.

Couldn't agree more. Love his poise, accuracy downfield, and mobility. Definitely slow processing things at the moment, but that should improve with experience. With an offseason under his belt, I would not be surprised to see a little bit more than just friendly competition develop in training camp between QB1 and QB2.

I'm sure he'll enjoy his retirement, and I wish him all the best.

How much of that is slow processing on his part, and how much was the relative lack of talent that he had to work with? [By comparison, look at his stat lines from his first three preseason games vs. the fourth when he had just the scrubs to work with.]

Good point. Hard to know for sure

Orton can move the ball, with so many qbs in nfl that can't even do that, I'd say he still belongs to nfl.
