The 2014 Edition : Jets continue to suck (what else is new)

Man, those Jets would run through a brick wall for their Wrecks...they'd jump into a raging inferno and brave sub zero arctic temps for their Sexiness of Wreckstiness...why, they'd...they'd...they'd go 4-12 for their beloved "toe" coach!!! OG OG OG!!! J-T-S-E!!!! The moron is strong in this one my padawan learner..

I had a $200 3 game parley in Vegas with the Fins covering the spread. And this is the game Geno shows up for and plays the game of his life. On the road???? All I can do is laugh.
A) It's just makes me hate them even more, with more hate for the Fins too, for being such a piece of ****e franchise that they can't even beat the Jets at home.
B) It will keep Geno as the starting QB for that miserable franchise for 2015.

Man I hate the Jets!!!!

You are right. That is funny reading indeed.
Thank you for that!!!

One of the posters is concerned that Woody Johnson will wait too long to fire Rex and they will miss out on the good candidates.

News Flash!!!

The reason you will miss out on the good candidates is that your team is the Rats and they are owned by Woody Johnson. That is why you have to settle for buffoons like Rex Ryan as HC and unknown GM candidates like John Idzik when no one else will interview for the job.

Jets played really really well today. Much better than the pats.

J-e-t-s. Jets jets jets!

Bet you're just a whole whale of fun to watch a game with.

The thing is, that didn't matter one iota for either team.

For the Patriots the primary goal was to finish the game with minimal injuries.

For the Jets the primary goal should have been to lose, to end up with the best possible draft pick.

In Jets-like fashion even when they win they screw up.

Congrats to the Jets for their starters playing better (against a team that mailed it in) than the Patriots backups played in a meaningless game.

Lol all they had to do was lose and they would've secured the #4 pick, but they had to "win one for Rex" so they could give him his annual meaningless gatorade bath, and thus ended up with the #6 pick. That'll be meaningless, too.

Jest have sacked Ryan and Idzik.

it's just beginning to sink in...the bloated, bloviating, toe sucking Rextum is going away...leaving us empty and yearning for more. How can he possibly be topped? Perhaps a two headed monstrosity on the level of a Brad Childress/Rick Spielman collaboration? Maybe Woody can get Rich Kotite to work hand in hand with Gasserly to formulate the perfect Jet rebirth.

One thing for dyam sure...Blabba the Wrecks is going to be one tough act to follow...but if ANY team can do it, it's the NY Jets.
Well he could hire Matt Millen as GM, that would be a start

With Idzik gone, the Jets suck less, if such a thing is possible.
Nah, not possible.

Woody's press conference happening right now. What a dork with that stupid hat. He can't even tie a Windsor knot.

Ahh Black Monday, one of my favorite times of year... That annual tradition where Jest fans all worry about the fate of their HC and GM (who this year both get the deserved boot) while we gear up for a bye week and then a playoff run.

It's like a second Christmas!

We aren't the Bills, this isn't an annual tradation.

Lovie Smith has mastered the art of tanking. He PULLLED his starters in the second half of a game, where his team was UP by 13. Geno only plays well, when he has tye chance to screw our draft position .

It has been for a few years now... Tannenbaum got canned a couple years ago and Rex has been on the hot seat for several years.

Rex was a lock to stay last season, and so was Idzik . Rex was our head coach for SIX seasons, that just doesn't happen often in the NFL now adays

Yes your team was so lucky! How the heavens have smiled upon you, to have blessed your team with Sexy Wrecksie for such a bountiful number of years. Surely the dynasty will never fall! :)

No one is saying that, and you know that. You said this was an annual tradation, and that is an incorrect statement .Tannebaum was the GM for five seasons, Bradway was the GM for five seasons, this is FAR from an annual tradation. That is all I am saying.
