Last year he became the first player since the AFL-NFL merger to lead the league in scoring in three different seasons (2008, 2012, and 2013).

He is now the first player since the merger to lead the league in scoring in three consecutive seasons. :)

Yeah but when they needed a big FG in the Green Bay game Gost gagged BIG time. Missed it by what....10 feet or more?? Was amazed at the lack of comment on that choke job. Still not sold on this guys metal.

Didn't some speculate that was Aiken's fault? Wouldn't be a surprise....Aiken is one of the worst LS in the league. Lucky for us we have one of the best holders and one of the best kickers (if not the best).

Missed one FG from 40-49 yards.

This is simply beyond belief and is a classic example of how hard it is to please Boston sports fans. You are never happy. Unbelievable!

I think the 10 years without a SB win (but two close calls) is taking it's toll on everybody.

Was it last year he had to fill in for Allen. Never punted in a game before and he punts two over 50 yards.

He punted 5 times in last years AFCD game against IND. Averaged 41.8 yds/punt.

It seems like a meaningless record at first glance, but kickers are supposed to be invisible. They are the low man on the totem pole in the locker room because they're only supposed to do one thing, and do it well. They have a short leash. Once again, we're so spoiled. Look around. I've seen plenty of bad pathetic kicks all around the league from other teams. This shows consistency all around. It also shows kickers are every bit as accountable and held to a high standard as any other position on this team.

So now perhaps it's time to give props to the Ghost. Way to go, Ghost!

Well, if it's Aiken's fault, it was indirect, since that was the game where Ninkovich was long snapping.

Laughable. I hope you are being sarcastic.

Anyway, maybe his Jazz is better than his metal? Or how about his plastic?

Cloudy on this one, my sarcasm meter is.

I hope you are sarcastic. Kicking is one of the most difficult, if not the most difficult job mentally in football. You are never warmed up and you are never in a rhythm. Your kick is also heavily dependent on your snapper and holder. Not to mention the pitch and the weather. Then you still have to worry about guys rushing into your leg. And that you are expected to score on every kick. Wow the pressure. You are insane.

Check out his other pouts (sic) from today.

Right. Could have been Nink's fault. Or perhaps Aiken's incompetence has infected Ninko.
