Patriots inactives: Jonas Gray, Dont'a Hightower, Dan Connolly, Sebastian Vollmer, Rob Groknowski, Brandon Browner, Julian Edelman

Thank goodness.

Gray, Gronk, Connolly, Edelman, Browner, Hightower and Vollmer all out today.

Hopefully Connolly heals up with the added rest and Vollmer is more precautionary than anything. Hopefully Brady doesn't play too much behind that line. It could be ugly.

I'm good with that list. hopefully Lafell gets few snaps too.

I wish Revis was out.

With Connolly and Vollmer out, I hope Brady sees few snaps.

Did anyone else notice that Gronk seemed quite slow vs the Jets coverage last week?
I think something was off health-wise that turned the game plan on its head.

I'm actually a bit surprised, but not shocked.

That said, this is going to be a weird game, and I am so glad it means nada.

Smart move, albeit surprising for Belichick.

Hopefully we still beat these guys. Never lost to buffalo in Gillette.

Edelman loses out on a $31,250 46-man roster bonus and maybe his 500K NLTBE incentive. Browner loses out on a 150K 46-man roster bonus and maybe some playing-time incentives.

I thought the same thing. He was one of the ones I thought just needed a rest.

Other than Gray, all the I actives are starters. Lots of back ups playing today.

Gronk must be a real pain in the ass when in uniform ...

so he was deactivated to keep him off the field LOL.

I am sure he is dinged ... no way anyone plays like he does and not get dents and bruises.

He's probably just tired. He's played 15 games after just having major knee surgery a year ago. I wouldn't look to much into it. He, like all the other players need rest.
