Tis' the Season Over

Apparently Santa is a Wrecks fan (or of course the fans prefer a humorous press conference over actually winning). Shouldn't #1 on that list should be HC of NYJ ?

Check out post #3034 in this thread for your answer as to this green Santa's true identity.

No other Head Coach could be as Jetsiful as Rex. Like the bicycle seat in The Third Policeman, Rex and the Jets have merged to the point that they are inseparable. His blowhard self-confidence, his self-absorbed ugliness and lack of class have become a pure expression of what is essential about the Jets. Vivat Rex!

I don't let the Jets success (or lack there of) affect my personal life, I personally don't care if other fans, who have zero financial investment in their teams, laugh at the Jets or Jet fans.

Truth is you care immensely what other fan bases think about your Jets and it does affect your personal life. If it didn't you I'm certain you wouldn't be fighting a non winnable fight on an opposing teams 'tongue in cheek' thread (on Christmas eve).

The more you attempt to defend, the more outrageous the responses will be. That's how it works. It's called trash talking, and I must admit, it's simply not a fair fight when we are talking about an organization notorious for making bad decisions.

In any event, I admire your loyalty. Happy holidays!

Go Patriots!

lmao. It's all making sense now.

Wrechsie Clause is coming to town!

He see's you when you're sleeping......he spanks you either way.....he rubs your toes if you've been good......so be below average for Jet Nation sake.

Jets gave our boys all they can handle though. Very strange.

As always, it doesn't take long for you to show your true troll colors -- puke green.

Here's a gift for you from the New Jersey Green Beans (same as usual):

In this century:

3x Super Bowl Champs
5 Super Bowl appearances
8 AFCCG appearances
12 Playoff appearances
12 Division titles
14 straight winning seasons
...and counting.

Now compare to the Jets and let's see who is laughing. ;)
I have no response, good job. This deserves a thumbs up.

He's also quite possibly the best "NFL" QB in the draft. Mariota is going to have to adjust and develop.

They'll probably go #1 and #2.

I agree but I don't see either one of them as true NFL material. I doubt either one of them will be successful. Teams keep trying these hybrid QB's and they don't work, some cite Russell as an exception but he is more of pocket passer than most think.

The East Rutherford Police Department is today asking for help tracking down robbers who last night completely emptied the New York Jets trophy room of it's contents.

The suspects were seen carrying a large green carpet and a box of unused metal polish.

In general people who claim that sports is not important in their lives are liars. Sports bring together pride, a sense of community and respect for your team. The Pats were the laughing stock of the NFL prior to Parcells and now are a model franchise thanks to Parcells, Kraft and BB. That in my opinion is awesome.

And the Pats did this in the era of the salary cap and drafting at the bottom of the rounds each and every year. Which makes the success that much more impressive. They even went 11-5 w/o Brady. How do you not respect his team. You may dislike them but not to respect them is silly.

This is not the Yankees that outspend everyone.

When did I say I didn't respect NE? I actually stated that I DO respect Brady/Bill a few weeks ago. Listen if the Jets lose a game, I'm not going to kill myself. Of course, I'll be upset. But I'm going to move on . Why? Well, because it's SPORTS, we're supposed to enjoy it. I think fans and the media take sports too serious sometimes. The fights at games, the death threats sent to player, the backlash players receive don't you think that's overboard? That's what I MEAN when I say that the Jets do not affect my personal life.

Glad to read that you draw the line at issuing death threats
