I understand its not yet set based on seeding, but what seeds are playing on Saturday and Sunday? Also what times are the games on at?

AFC 1 seed usually plays on that saturday

Very helpful. Do you know what time? I'm having a wedding crisis. How do they decide who plays at 4 and who plays at 8?

Anyone stupid enough to schedule their wedding in January, during the playoffs, deserves to have a few no-shows.

While recently over the last 7 years the AFC #1 seed has mostly played Saturday(5 of last 7, but last year Denver played Sunday) there is no set day they will play. Mostly based on time zone and TV Choice. And this year NBC gets a divisional game.

My guess this year is Pats will play Sunday.

(If Sea or AZ-Det get #1/#2 seeds)

Saturday 4pm WC@Denver-NBC
Saturday 8pm WC@AZ/Sea-FOX

Sunday 1pm WC@Det-FOX
Sunday 430pm WC@NE-CBS

If Sea+Dal get #1 and #2

Saturday 4pm WC@Denver-CBS
Saturday 8pm WC@Dallas-FOX

Sunday 1pm WC@NE-CBS
Sunday 430pm WC@Sea-NBC

ESPN gets a wildcard game this year.

EDIT: My bad, forgot this was the divisional round. I think NBC might get two divisional games though, but I'm not sure on that.

This. I would 100% no show if pats were playing at home in the playoffs..no question :D

If they play Saturday it will be 4pm game. They have rotated the Divisional Saturday 8pm game every year since they started it in 01 playoffs. If they keep the same rotatin I can't see Pats playing at the worst rated game time in the playoffs the Sat 4pm game.

Why do you think they will get Sunday? I thought there was some sort of pattern but I noticed Denver got Sunday last year. I know the solution to this is to buy tickets, that's a reasonable excuse to not go, but double retail on stub hub kills the businessman in me.

Because if they stay with the rotation they have used since 01 season. This is a NFC Saturday 8pm game year. I can't see NFL putting one of the highest rated teams on the worst slot for TV ratings the Saturday 4pm game. Pats have never been in that slot in the divisional or wild card round since they started 4pm-8pm Saturday games

01 Divisonal Sat 8pm
03 Divisional Sat 8pm
04 Divisional Sun 430
05 Wild Card Sat 8pm Divisonal 8pm
06 Wild Card Sun 1pm Divisional Sun 4pm
07 Divisional Sat 8pm
09 Wild Card Sun 1pm
10 Divisonal Sun 430pm
11 Divisional Sat 8pm
12 Divisional Sun 430pm
13 Divisional Sat 8pm

Kinda like the 8 PM spot on Sat just due to the fact i can watch the early game on the TV while tailgating..but no biggie if it's at 4

Regardless we find out Sunday night correct?

Just grow a pair

What I love about msg boards is that it's easy to come across as a macho football fan while nobody here knows that in reality this girly man missed a non-Pats SB in the 80s because I was at my wife's sister's wedding.
She did produce 3 great kids though. Her husband helped.

Its great advice. Don't go quoting yourself and backtracking. I actually got amazing tickets in 110 for Christmas and I'm not missing that. Time to sack up and tell the truth. If the game is on Sunday, I'll go to the wedding, otherwise...
