I'm not religious in any way. But really, who cares? Christmas for me isn't coupled to a religion. It's just a happy and light time in the darkness that is the winter. Mary Christmas to everyone here! I love you guys and girls for having someone to discuss this topic that is Patriots football to the extreme, that my parents and friends would probably call an unhealthy obsession, with! And I really mean it. Talking with Patriots with you guys and girls have made given me time to focus on something I really love, The Patriots, instead of some other stuff that goes on in life that isn't very fun!

Actually, Jesus was born in April according to scholarly research. One basic hint comes from accounts of shepherds "guarding their flocks at night" against predators. Why? To protect baby lambs which come in the springtime. So yes, the only reason we celebrate Christmas this time of year is because of traditional winter solstice festivals.
