What about duke johnson of auburn. I wonder. Don't think he's made a decision yet.

Duke Williams is Auburn -Wr, haven't heard yet. Duke Johnson-RB Miami is coming out.

South Carolinas Mike Davis is entering the draft according to Twitter.

Manx pinky alert! Nothing official, but "sources" claim that TE Maxx Williams will declare:

I like him better than anyone from last year.

I wonder if Josh leaves if we go back to more 2 te stuff. Maybe, Maxx comes into play then. Wouldn't mind taking some of the blocking responsiblity away from Gronk because he's our primary receiving threat. He also doesn't seem to be the blocker he was before injuries. He has him moments for sure. Some terrific wham blocks and throwing the Colts db out the club. But, I'd be willing to wager his blocking grades aren't what they used to be.

Would he be even harder to indentify in coverage if he's lines up as a move-te/h-back? You wouldn't be able to chuck him at the line.

Maxx Williams is a "cat amongst the pigeons" prospect for me. It's not necessarily a need considering Tim Wright but I'd absolutely take him in the high second round. I 'lol go back and fully evaluate him now, should be a fun one.

I wouldn't take a TE with our 1st pick. But I'd trade up for Williams in the 2nd if we didn't have to trade up in the 1st, and I'd strongly consider him if the top OL/DL prospects were already gone. I haven't evaluated him fully, but I like him much better than Jace Amaro from what I've seen.

I'd be reluctant to take a TE too but if he's the best player on my board and I can improve the value by trading back for him, I'd absolutely take him with the first pick. If they like Solder and Vollmer, then a trade back for Williams and a trade up for Erving would be a really nice 1-2 takeaway from the draft.

Penn State's LT Donovan Smith will forego his Senior season and enter the draft.

Auburn's WR Duke Williams will return for his senior season.

And Tevin Coleman is in the draft.

I've seen a lot of D. Smith. He's a big kid. Prob about 6'4" 330lb. I think they asked him to get a little too big. He played LT at that weight. I think a little better conditioning will help him. I think he might make it inside in the NFL. He hasn't played there. So, it's a little bit of a projection. Smart kid. Graduated earlier this month. Has a kid. Younger kids in the program looked up to him. It's not football 24/7 when you're in college, going to class and have a kid. The ability to concentrate on football and be financially set can really help a kid like him focus. I wouldn't bet against him. Would consider him with our late 4th or that 6th from TB if we double dip on OL.

PSU's offensive line stunk this year. But, it wasn't his fault. He played with two red-shirt frosh who weren't ready, two converted dt's on the ol for the first time. The center was a first year starter too. He was the only one who had started a game prior to this year. He won't be a plug in and play guy like Urschel. But, Seattle has a kid Gary Gilliam who was a converted TE. Who didn't start at PSU ahead of Smith and a Gress kid, yet made their team this year as a UDFA.

Thanks for this. Off topic but what's your view on Anthony Zettel?

He had an incredible season. They moved him from de to 3-technique and he excelled. The kid alongside him Austin Johnson was a red-shirt soph and did the dirty work. Allowed Zettel to be very active and he took advantage of it. I think he played about 275. He has a great motor. Very quick off the ball. BC couldn't handle him and they have a pretty good OL. He asked the advisory committee for a draft grade. I think he'll go back for another year and try to get a little bigger. If he can get up to 290, he can play in the NFL. He claims he can drive a golf ball 350 yards and throw a baseball 92mph. He's into MMA too. Pretty good all-around athlete.

Sucks, I wanted Duke Williams and Oakman to enter among others (Cook)
