If you actually paid attention to the Michael Brown grand jury, you'd realize that it was absolutely ********. My best friend is in law school and basically told me that you can indict a slice of bread if you want to. The person in charge of indicting has to be really incompetent. Now lets talk about Tamir Rice. Was the shooting justified? I don't know. They literally shot him at sight. And the cop was about to be fired from another job because he had "weepy demeanor"

If I decided to attack an officer, and move for his weapon, I'd assume the worst if I didn't get his weapon. Nevermind the incident shortly before the confrontation.

There are good cops and bad cops. To me, Wilson gets a pass. The NYC incident is the true injustice.

You can indict a slice of bread when you tell one story. The prosecutor could have just ran with Brown's friend's story and strung along the mob for a year or two. Instead he gave all the evidence, including physical evidence from three autopsies, much of which was contradictory to the witnesses claiming injustice.

But hey, assaulting an officer and attempting to move for his weapon has no consequences, so carry on.

I agree police need to be held to a higher standard, however care should be taken while citing incidents or no good will come from any of the uproar.

You kind of did for two paragraphs. It's not rhetoric. It's race-baiting and inciting violence. A lot of people are hurt, some are dead because a punk robbed a store, assaulted a merchant, and attacked a cop -- and happened to have dark skin. At the completion of the grand jury hearing, a prosecutor went on television at night, while mobs were on the streets, and gave the decision before making the case. The media cut away to the mobs instead of continuing coverage of the evidence. Next day every racist in the country was spinning the story without regard to evidence. What could go wrong? Who could have known? Certainly not the mayor of New York or the president of the United States.

Maybe you should pick up a weapon and stand a post? Go keep the peace in Ferguson. See how accountable you are with a linebacker charging towards you or a 'child' pointing a toy gun at you? Most of us would not even venture into the neighborhoods where these things are happening.

I don't think the NFL should tolerate any sort of protests, but once you tolerate a hands up don't shoot protest by the Rams, you really have to let a guy wear a tribute to a couple cops executed in their car.

On another Coughlin topic, they end the season playing the Eagles, who have been in a free-fall since after Thanksgiving.

They may save Coughlin's job.

Another thing. There is not one scintilla of evidence that these police in these cases were motivated by the color of skin. Even Eric Holders corrupt justice department cannot find anything that could possibly stick to make it a civil rights case and he would die trying.
The thug Mike Brown got 3 autopsy. There not a white ass poster on this board that would ever get that extra treatment . He got a grand jury that saw ALL evidence and witnesses possible. FYI thats is WAY more than a regular jury would ever see. Including the liars that said he had his hands up. And it wouldn't be the defense that wouldn't enter it it would be the prosecution because the defense would chew up the prosecutions witnesses and spit em out.And the prosecution knows it.
As for Garner maybe the police should look into firing the black Sargent ( incompetent supervision) that headed up the detail to arrest the probation violator and 30 time arrest loser.
Garner complies he is alive today (maybe). But being a loser all his life he just ended up what most losers do in the end, ruin other peoples lives by not obeying the rules that 90 % of us have no problem doing.
The left wing politicians and the corrupt media have to play the race card when they can even if they have to fabricate it. Because without the howls of "racism" it weakens their whole agenda. Instead celebrating how far we have come in race relations even in my lifetime, they stir hate and division for political gain.
And then they have the balls to attack the institutions that have done more to protect and save people of color from other people of color than anyone. Lets not forget where the 911 calls come from in the first place.

Can we admit that while the majority of all groups (whites, blacks, cops, doctors, etc.) are good people, there are some bad apples within each group. And to the extent that the tribe instinctively protects its ill doers, it does a disservice to the tribe and to society as a whole.

Not going to disagree here. Kobe Bryant even said himself "why should I defend someone just because they're black?" There was a huge backlash and he had to apologize to protect his brand. It's impossible to move forward if people can't be objective and assume racism everytime.
