Denver is not the team i worry about the most in the AFC

I'm not worried about any team because if the Patriots play their best football, i don't think there is a team in the NFL that can beat them. I'm more concerned about how we play than who.

Absolutely. If they can go 3-and-out on four straight drives against SD's defense or start off slowly against GB, the Pats can certainly make Pitt's awful defense look competent enough to get into a dangerous enough spot. But that's all on the Patriots.

Broncos are the most dangerous team. Getting J Thomas and Trevathan healthy could make a big difference for them. Still, Pats should be heavy favorites until the SB.

The Broncos won't be getting Trevathan back as they put him on IR.

I want no part of Roethlisberger as he is a proven playoff winner. Also want no part of James Harrison old or not. Can't we play the Colts 2x?

I don't see it. Pitt's non division schedule was a joke. AFC South and the NFC South with the Jets and Chiefs. Their SOS outside the division was .362 teams combined for a record of 54-95. They played three teams with a winning record (outside the division) and two of them are 8-7. Again I don't see it.

The only team we should be afraid of is the team whose D-line and pass rushers can wreck havoc on our O-line. And that team my friends, is Denver.

If Brady doesn't have enough time to find an open receiver, it will be a very long night for our team.

Wow are we so full of ourselves thinking our week 5 matchup means we don't have to consider the bengals at all? In 2010 we stomped the jets but the. The play offs happened and it wasn't so good the bengals just beat Denver and could go in as number 2 seed. I'm sure they will not have forgotten how we embarrassed them.

Let's not crown ourselves AFC champs just yet

Given a choice on which one team I'd like to see the Patriots avoid facing this playoffs... my honest answer is the Broncos.

I am not "scared" of a single team in the AFC, at all. The Patriots have no excuse to lose to any of the frauds in the AFC playoffs.

Losing to any of this year's playoffs teams would be an absolute train wreck. The only "scare" would be in a potential Super Bowl matchup against the Seahawks or Packers. Hell, even the Cowboys pose more of a threat than any other team in the AFC.

That being said....

The Toughest Road (Also would be the most gratifying)
Ravens > Broncos > Seahawks

The Easiest Road
Colts > Bengals > Anyone but the Hawks/Packers

Three straight years the Bengals were one and done on WC weekend. And you think that the Bengals have a prayer of coming into Foxboro and beating the Pats? It would look just like the Tebow Broncos or the Luck led Colts playoff games in Foxboro. The North is simply inflated by playing a pair of sorry divisions.

But either way they need to get their first playoff win....

The Patriots would level the Steelers. Revis on Brown and contain Bell and their offense goes bye bye. The team in the AFC that worries me the most is still Denver, but they are looking terrible. The Ravens would be another story if they even get in. But, generally speaking, the AFC appears to be going up in flames just in the nick of time.

Which in hindsight was incredibly flawed thinking the Pats were going to blow them out. In the 1st game that year between the two, the Jets won with basically the same exact game plan as the playoff game.

Everybody's talking Steelers. Yes, they're playing the great, but the team I don't want to see come into Foxboro is Baltimore.

Harbaugh always puts together a great game plan against us. I would prefer they just get knocked out altogether, but certainly before they get to us.

No one else scares me, coming into our place, honestly.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying we can't or that they can even gain the rights to play us but no one even mentioned them as a team in the play offs but the Ravens and Chargers are worth discussion. We can beat any team in foxboro but let's not act like it has happened the bengals just beat Denver they should not just be overlooked. No team scares me but that doesn't mean we can't slip up.

I think the team I am most concerned about coming to Foxboro and winning are the Ravens, and they may not even get in. I'm more confident in beating Denver. However, if we were on the road, Then Denver would scare me the most. I'm just not afraid of Pittsburgh because Brady almost always shreds that defense

As fans, we tend to envision our team at its best moments (against the Colts) and the teams we are going to play at their worst (Denver vs Cincy, Pitt vs Cleveland). But on game day all of that vanishes pretty quickly.

Things are setting up to repeat like the 03 year. pats vs panthers sb.

Denver is still the most dangerous though imo.

If the Ravens get in, they will have a juiced up Haloti Ngata wreaking havoc on the interior OLine (have we read this script before)? They've beat us twice in the playoffs in Gillette. I can see Steve Smith scoring the winning TD as followed by him talking trash to the whole Pats team. Flacco can magically hit the long bombs in the playoffs after stinking it up all year. He is like the AFC version of Eli Manning from a few years ago before poor Eli fell off the face of the Earth.

I agree on the Ravens. Crappy team that is very dangerous. They have to make the playoffs first, which may not happen. Hoyer will be auditioning to keep his job or get picked up someplace else. The Browns have a good defense and could easily give the Ravens fits.

Eli Manning, by the way, is having a good season. He'll finish in the top ten in passing yards, TDs, completions and other categories. The Giants squandered a good year from their QB. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categoryst...Category=QUARTERBACK&d-447263-s=PASSING_YARDS

Not me. By the start of every game, my thoughts run to the worst for the Pats. The Jets game gave me that sinking Oakland Raider/KC Chiefs feeling until the final kneel downs.
