T.J. Ward

A part of me identifies with Ward as I don't like to see anyone taken from the field with a potentially serious injury but it's also difficult to look past a player who takes the field with the intention to inflict harm on others opposed to playing the ball.

I'm not sure I can take the position to wish him well in his recovery but I do hope it's nothing serious.

i'm not going to waste my breath wishing him a speedy recovery or harm. he's a douche.

I hope Ward recovers from his injury in time. But it would do him no harm at all to spend a prolonged period out of action, might encourage him to reflect on his self confessed "bad intentions".

Agree Deus. There are some pretty classless replies in this thread.

Don't we want to beat the Broncos at their best?

Don't understand who would want to walk around admitting they are the type of person that wishes bodily harm upon someone who plays on a team they don't root for.

Misplaced sanctimony much?

What is all the BS about beating *team x at their best? Did Denver get us at our best last year when Welker took Talib out? That's after we already lost Big Vince, Mayo, Gronk (!), and Tommy Kelly to name a few..

You think Denver didn't enjoy winning the AFCCG with the Patriots limping around on one leg with an arm tied behind our back?

Get real.

Also, this isn't like wishing Manning to get injured - as much as I don't like the guy, he isn't a risk to knock a Patriots out for the season with a deliberate and dirty hit.

TJ Ward is up there with Bernard Pollard for me.

Let's say your child/sibling/father is an nfl safety. I do not think the Gronk hit last year was necessarily intentional. The "attempt" this year, coupled with the quotes, raises eyebrows. That is no reason to celebrate potentially debilitating injury of another human.

My dad brother isnt. This guy is. If they were and got hurt I'd feel differently. He's not family so I don't feel the same for him.

I saw Darryl taken off the field never to walk again....have to admit, I wished a Mack truck would find Jack Tatum doing 80 mph for a few years afterwards
That's a normal response to a football player you don't know personally being injured. Could you post a few of the posts you have from this incident so we can see them? I know you must have hundreds on a memory stick.

It happened in the 1970s before the internet. Or am I missing the joke?

As for ward good riddance to the lousy bum!

He's a dirtbag. Never like to see anyone injured - but what goes around, comes around.

It might make him think the next time he tries to severely injure someone.

It's not because it's the Broncos, Fool. It's because it's Ward.

I feel no sorrow for this scum. He hit Gronk with full intention on ending his career. He went for his bad knee knowing it would take him out. IMO. As for the sympathetic, ask Gronk how his recovery went

Let's be crystal clear:

01 ~ Ward's hit last Year ~ which he tried to repeat this Year, but missed, this time ~ was legal. Yippee.
02 ~ That's beside the point. FootBall is a Brotherhood of Gladiators. Unwritten Rules matter.
03 ~ Tackle like a Man. If you can't tackle without endangering a guy's Health & Career, find another Job.
04 ~ What he did ~ and again tried to do ~ were the acts of cowardly, sadistic Scum.

As I've said before, I won't wish for him to get injured, but if it does happen, I won't wish him a speedy recovery.

Ironic it being a neck injury. I wonder if he will still lead with the crown of his helmet going forward now

Eh, who cares about Ward's health? He certainly doesn't care about others'. It's better for everyone for dirty players like him to not be on the field.

I had this horrible, unsettled feeling in the pit of my stomach when I saw Ward's neck bend like that.

Luckily it was only gas from the tacos I had for dinner. After lettting loose a couple of bombs, I felt much better and was able to properly enjoy the moment.

LMAO at all the sanctimonious twits in this thread. Ward walked off the field so its all in good fun. Obtain a life

Oh you didn't know Joker saves posts to his hard drive so he can use them in future seasons. He also keeps a log of every interaction he has on the board. He is thorough. I know what you're thinking "what a loser" but really he is just extremely organized.

Yeah, I hope he's ok too.... - in the off season. Until then, I don't give a **** about his health. I'll never forgive this douchebag for what he did to Gronk. Fck him.

This thread kind of makes me shake my head at the fan base on here (feel free to negative rate me as you please). Disregard the debate of whether he is a dirty player r not and whether or not he deliberately goes out to hurt people (which I highly doubt in my own personal opinion)...never celebrate an injury of any player...especially one as bad as a neck.

Not only that, the guys can't cover for sh*t. I'd rather have him back there if and when we meet Denver in the playoffs!!!

I remember when we had a player a lot of opposing fans wished injury and called a dirty player...we defended him all the way to hell and back..he was called Rodney Harrison. Fans have fickle memories however.

T.J. Ward was an accident waiting to happen to himself. With this neck injury maybe he will learn to keep his head up and not facing the turf when he tackles.

This thread is ****ed. Its one thing to have a dirty player like Pollard tear his acl it's an entirely another thing for a guy to hurt his neck. That's serious **** I don't wish on anyone.
