Rodney Harrison's one concern

I'm still angry at Rodney for this

That wasn't his fault, Samuel gave up on the play. Even if it was his fault, he made way to much impact on the field in a positive way to crap on him as a player. Now put a microphone in his face and now we have something to he mad about. I respect your opinion @Oswlek but don't forget about his super bowl prediction, and telling Brady to take his skirt off to appeal to people who hate our team. I know its just business but I won't let him off the hook for that.

I'm not gonna argue about it cause i'll go on for days but all i gonna says is Rodney could of knocked the ball out and fumbled it or incomplete i have seen videos and countless pictures of that play, that catch could of been avoided Rodney and the other guy cost brady a 4th ring, i know it was a mistake but it was at the worse f*cking time to make one, funny thing is last night i was watching replays of the play looking at pictures of it that game still bothers me every now and then.

As a player, yes I agree. I won't stand for his anti patriot agenda in the media though. I'm shocked everyone let's him off the hook for selling himself to Patriot haters.

Anti patriot agenda in media? He picks them like every week especially when they play SNF.... He's a critic. They arn't perfect..no team is

Team B has allowed 54 receptions and 11 TD to TEs

I always liked Harrison as a player and a talker. I've been complaining about Chung being a weakness on this team from day one. When so many fans disagreed with me and thought he was doing better, I started to think I had imagined him biting on running plays and missing tackles. Apparently, Rodney agrees with me.

They're perennially 13-3, 12-4 on an average year, picking them every week is probably good strategy. Telling Tom Brady to take your skirt off when you come into the business is having an agenda. I know its just a stupid comment, but he was letting the country know "I'm not a Patriots guy."

It really was a simple play. Instead of trying to reach the ball to knock it out, Rodney could have just pulled the WRs arm down that was holding the ball up against his helmet. Just the slightest of tugs on his right elbow brings the ball out.

Oh wow you mean to tell me a strong safety is saying a team needs a strong safety?! How exciting!

And now to Marshall Faulk to talk about running backs that can also catch the ball.

I don't see how anyone could dislike Harrison as a media member. He's charismatic, funny, insightful and sincere. He's one of the few guys that you feel is giving you an honest opinion that wouldn't change with the mic off. His open rooting for NE might be a turn off for a national fan, but it shouldn't here.

Yeah, I like Harrison as a media guy. If anything, my main complaint is that I think he tries too hard to appear objective, which leads to stupid comments like him telling Brady to play without a skirt.

Interesting. And not much of that was to Witten or Davis.

Would the Patriots have won against the Jets if Brady hadn't gotten a bit more physical recently?

I hate the phrasing, because it's misogynistic, but the point isn't that stupid. A lot of people think Brady for a while got more worried about being hit than he previously had been.

What a silly discussion. I like both Rodney and Bruschi and I wouldn't like either if they just kissed the patriots ring all the time (they don't).

Somebody asked him if he had one concern, he noted average tight ends could be covered better. Horrors. That's a pretty minor concern. Does any team do a great job of covering average tight ends? That means resources left after all wide outs, RBs, possible runs are covered, some tight end you thought was blocking, catches his third pass of the season.

I'm sure chung will take the burn and maybe tighten up. He has gotten better, as has been noted. Sometimes the design of the play leaves someone unaccounted for and the defender has to play catch up. Jeez Louise, if Harrison can't voice that mild criticism of one aspect og his former team, he might as well jump up on the desk with res white and blue pom poms.

for what it's worth, depending on adjustments that need to be made, I'm pretty happy with Hightower, Jamie Collins, Chung and other safeties against tight ends. seems a lot better than in past years. Can't field an all pro at every position. Maybe chung will take the legends barb to heart.

Rodney was joking about the skirt comment. He said the following to Peter King about it:
"Can you believe this? I WAS JOKING! I had a smile on my face! I texted Tom and told him I was going to have fun with this, and he had no problem with it at all. He thought it was funny."
Even if he wasn't, he was right. I hate when anyone on the team goes begging for flags. And Tom totally did on that play.

Chung is a concern of mine, but not the concern. Interior ol, keep Brady upright and it doesn't matter what Chung does. otherwise were in trouble

Ugggh. Bruschi is not good at all, which is too bad.
He is good during the chat and reiss talk when he breaks down plays and stuff , otherwise he is like other ESPN analysts.
