The Official Patriots vs Jets Game Thread

I'm still baffled by that first down they gave us. Looked like a clear gap between the ball and the first down pole, at least a couple inches.

Horrible game, but the win in addition to the perceived lack of injuries is a positive.

Well I will take it. Hope we get a better effort vs Buffalo.

I think the Pats will benefit on O by playing these tough Ds before the playoffs.

Barring one hell of a comeback, the Saints will lose today.
Baltimore is currently losing 22-7.
Detroit's in a dogfight against the Clausen-led Bears.
Green Bay has only put up 20 against the Bucs

There have been a lot of ugly games today, and a lot of teams have shown their weak points. Rough week, but it's a win.

We're on to Christmas.

Pats earned that win

Imagine if the players gave up the same way the fans do? Most games would be over in the 1st Q with a 10 point lead.... Ya gotta give props to the Patriots, both players and coaches, grinding away, confident if they keep making plays they'll come out on top in the end....

Rex Ryan should have saved his time out but he didn't RESPECT THE CLOCK!

If he didn't call the first time out - the field goal, they would have been hit with delay of game penalty.

The last one was used with 2:34 left...if he had waited until after the 2 minut warning, it would have cost him mroe time.

OTOH if the pats play every one like we are playing the jets we would probably be 3 and 11.
this sounds like your saying the pats just play lousy when they're up against the rexy and the jest. rex has a lot to do with the way the pats play.

You can rest assured that the anti-Pats tinhat brigade will be out in force on that one. Cue Tom Florio in 3...2..1..

I will never say a bad thing about Dan Connolly again!!!!

You have to respect the defensive mind of Rex Ryan. IMO, he is the best defensive coordinator in football. I just hope he isn't working in the AFC next year.

I think it was the angle from which the camera was pointing.

If you want to really enjoy PFT, go read their reporting on the RGIII/Gruden/Redskins stuff this year.

More backflips than the U.S. Olympics gymnastics team.

Didn't you see BB waving his hand towards the ref while saying "the ball has made the line to gain"

weird...we played against the lions. stout front/bad secondary and moved the ball pretty well

today, not so much but the most important thing is the win!:D
