Chargers win!

Suck it Ravens and Steelers

Lovely finish.

It would be fabulous if SD ends up edging the Ravens out of the playoffs based on their 1 point road win.

OK Miami...he's all yours!!!...let the fearing begin!

Fantastic! Rivers throws three picks and the 49ers rush for over 300 yards. If you looked at every stat other than the score, you'd have to think this was a blow out for San Fran.

I always knew Harbaugh wouldn't be able to sustain the success he's had in the past few seasons. He just happened to drop into a team that was loaded but had very bad coaching.

LOL I turned this off at halftime cause I thought it was over

Thanks for keeping my parlay bet alive, San Diego

Would be fun to see Chargers @ Denver in the playoffs.

I am not convinced the Chargers won't win that game.

I wouldn't have believed that it would be possible to rush for 355 yards with an 8.9 YPC average and get 3 turnovers including a pick-6 and still lose. That takes real commitment to losing.

Only the genius of a Harbaugh could ever hope to pull something like this off...

Harbaugh would fit right in with the Jets.

There is a lot of sadness over on the eagles blogs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the Eagles win next week and Dallas loses out, wouldn't they be in?

That wouldn't be entirely unlike Dallas to lose out. The Colts have as good a shot to beat them as any, and apparently the Redskins love to play spoiler.

When I saw in the scoreboard that Rivers threw 2 picks I was ready to say he was a rich's man Jay Cutler, but he's not, he's really a great QB although I think he will never win anything. The 3rd quarter was looking nice, I went to a bar to watch the 4th and OT, nice game for a Saturday night.

yes but they are still sad, articles like "Eagles don't deserve to make the playoffs". But yeah the Cowboys could still technically blow it in a week 17 game, although I think they probably win against the Colts

I messed around with an NFL playoff predictor and this could theoretically happen in a perfect-world scenario in which the Pats, Colts, Bengals, and Chargers win out, and the Broncos lose out, dropping them to the 4th seed and facing the 5th seeded Chargers. This would also require the Steelers and Ravens losing out and the Texans winning out for the 6th seed, which sadly I don't see happening (nor do I see the Raiders going into Denver and winning). But it's fun to dream at least.

More likely I think we get Chargers @ Steelers and Ravens @ Colts with the Patriots and Broncos on bye.

Like you, I live in Philly and those fans don't realize that the Eagles are the ONLY winning team here. The 76ers are 2-22, Flyers are crashing and Phillies are old and on their way down...None of the four major teams will make the post season this year and that is pretty rare for a city with 4 teams...When you have half the league making it in NBA and NHL as well as 10/30 in baseball and 12/32 in football.... I don't blame Kelly, the guys works miracles. Look what he did with Sanchez.....
Kelly should tell them to pound sand and go to Michigan.....or take the 49ers job....

Yup. Philly is a very odd sports town - heck it is a very odd town. The Professional sports team are not great and the college teams don't really get much attention. But anyway, I see Kelly only being here for 1-2 more years. He needs a QB and won't get a good one as I don't ever think he will pick in the top 5.

The guy that would do great here is Rex Ryan. Philly is all talk and the people here have always loved a bull shter. He would talk big and win little, which is perfect for this town.

You must have been eavesdropping on myself and a few friends the other night. We had this conversation the other night and Rex's name came up if Chip bolts...

Rex: "Sorry, Jim, I only do toes, not necks!"

Chiefs should be winning if Reid wasn't a complete moron today. Doesn't challenge an obvious fumble by Roethlesberger deep in Pit territory then goes for it on fourth and inches instead of taking the FG and going into half down just one. Even if they make it there's only like twenty seconds left and no TO's. Refs haven't helped either with obvious home cooking today, the previously mentioned fumble was one of th e major iffy calls that went Pitt's way.

With Cutler on the bench, the Bears are currently ahead of the Lions, 14-10 late in the 3rd
