Jonas Gray is great, bet lets not get carried away

The Pats aren't going to run a lot anyway. The Jets have a very good run defense and an awful pass defense. Even with Edelman out, they are going to pass a lot.

honestly i had completely forgotten about him, but yeah he would have to be active at this point right?

Well given that they are probably going to rely on the pass to attack the Jets biggest weakness. I don't think its a given that White is active.

Chris Price made a good point, Vereen usually does well against the Jets. He typically does well against defenses with aggressive front sevens because teams over pursue and allows Vereen to have plenty of room to run on passes in the flat. In the first Jets game, he had 114 all purpose yards and 2 TDs. In 2012 in the second game vs the Jets (he didn't play them in 2013), he had 133 all purpose yards and a TD.
