What is the biggest obstacle to SB win #4 for the Pats?

Honestly, I hope you're right. I've felt bad having to watch her witness a last game collapse in the past few years with a chance at the postseason.

As far as the chances vs. Indy, I just don't see it, but I definitely hope that I'm wrong.

I've had a fondness for the Cowboys since way back during my betting daze, when Drew Pearson caught a pass in OT that brought the ball all the way down to the 2 yard line. That was when the Cowboys immediately set up for the game winning FG on 1st down (and loss of my bet at -5.5) only to fake it and throw a winning TD pass instead. I've liked them ever since, though I wasn't a big Deion fan and I'm not much of a Jerry Jones fan now.

I don't think Indy or Dallas are as strong as their records say they are, but I think Dallas is stronger, although losing Murray doesn't help. . Tell her not to worry. :)

Steelers. We're the only team in the AFC that can score with you guys. Manning has fallen apart over the last few weeks and Luck turns the ball over at an alarming rate. Roethlisberger can push the ball downfield to Brown, and there isn't a combination better than those two in the NFL. Revis will do what he can, but teams haven't slowed Brown down in two seasons now.

If we get in, we're the biggest obstacle standing in your way as you are to us.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if we had to head to Foxborough to play in the title game.

I think you guys are at the fourth seed and you come to Gillette in the Divisional round. Brown is ridiculous, but nobody has gotten the best of Revis this year, It's fair to say Brown won't win the Steelers that game. Bell is also ridiculous but New England scores so often at home I'm not sure the game will be tight enough to pound away with him.

With the exception of games played on Halloween weekends (2004, 2011) much better defenses than this current Steeler's one hasn't been able to solve Brady. At the end of the day our defense will slow down yours a lot more than vice versa. I do think you have a good chance of going into Denver or Indy and winning.

Because they are skilled, fast, and physical. More so, IMHO, than any other team in the league, including the Pats. A game against the seahawks will be successful only if Belichick brings a great plan and the Pats execute to perfection...assuming the seahawks play to their capability.
Does that mean that if the Pats play to their capability they will defeat the Seahawks if they play to their capability? You just completely blew my mind.

And this is fair. However, we haven't had an offense like this against the Patriots. I do agree that it'll likely be a shootout.

I do really like a match up against Denver. Manning isn't capable of getting into shootout games anymore and our offense is built to score points. You might score on our defense, but they likely wouldn't be able to outscore our offense.

Depends. I do think we'll be the fourth seed, but if Indy has to play Baltimore as the sixth seed then I'm not so sure. The Ravens don't boast an impressive offense, but Flacco doesn't turn it over at the same rate that Luck does in the playoffs. I'd prefer to travel to Mile High before we had to go to Foxborough.

Well, see, therein lies the (potential) issue for New England - Bell is also a ridiculous receiver. He already has 76 receptions for 760 yards and we have yet to play the Bengals again. There's a chance he becomes a 1500 yard rusher, 1000 yard receiver. Again, it would be all about containment, but there hasn't been a defense that has been able to contain Bell and Brown. It's an either/or for defenses. It's similar to how I very much doubt we'd be able to contain Gronkowski, even with Shazier's speed.

Game would end up 37-36. haha.

Belichick's and Brady's superior intelligence of the game will be the deciding factor if both teams are healthy and play to the best of their ability. There, is that a little clearer?

Steelers.

Of all the potential AFC playoff contenders, I'm least worried about the Steelers. Sorry. Historically, Brady has shredded that pass defense. And this is the best defense the Pats have fielded in a decade. I'd welcome that matchup any time.

Hey, I hear ya. Historically you guys definitely have the edge. That said, this is the best offense the Steelers have fielded since we had five Hall of Famers on the field.

There isn't an offense in the AFC that can score like the Patriots can other than us.

I just can't see a scenario where this offense moves the ball on Seattle. The offensive line would be a disaster against that team in my opinion ...

O-line
Not throwing to Wright and Amendola more often

if the offensive line continues to play like they have over the last six games they won't go to far. i thought a month and a half ago that for the first time in years we had a legit o line which i considered the teams achiles heal. For what ever reason (most likely injuries) this o line has regressed, and looks like the patriots o lines of the last five or six years

O-LINE

With a banged up o-line (just 1 guy hurt) we won't go anywhere in the playoffs.

It's matchups! Seattle's D is great but can be had with right QB! Their offense is very psychophrenic at times. If the O Line can play like they did in November I don't see how the Patriots aren't holding up their 4th Vince Lombardi trophy!
