Cortland Finnegan calls out Tom Brady "he must be dreaming"

I don't have a problem with what he said. A lot of people tend to doubt that Brady will be able to play into his early to mid 40s. That is all he said.

I think the day when a QB in his early to mid 40s being a top QB in this league isn't that far away. It doesn't look like Manning or Brees will be that guy. Brady has a shot. If he doesn't someone will within 10 years or so after (most of the other top QBs are about 10 years younger or more right now).

Phil Simms a couple years ago, talking about Favre, said that even at 50 he felt he (Simms) could make all the throws and reads. It was just getting hit that was the problem.
LMAO! Simms was a decent QB in his time, but he couldn't make all the throws in his prime.

I think Brady can do it. Favre played well at 40 and he wasn't a cerebral guy, he was a gunslinger. Nor did he take great care of his body; he's jacked, but he's not doing yoga and all this flexibility stuff that Brady already is. Favre was skipping workouts whenever he could, and he still made it to 40 playing well. So why is there doubt that Brady who is much more cerebral, much more conscious about his body's well being and training, and who is just generally better, can make it further?

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I loved Favre, I've got a Favre jersey in my closet. I'm just comparing.

He's right I fully expect Brady and Billy boy to retire in two to three years.

That's two or three more years of resignation to your life being "on hold," followed by another decade-plus of active despair via continued Patriots domination and SOJ.

Billy boy...aren't you clever. I'll tell you what, sport, you PM me and we'll agree on a little wager in which I'll bet neither Brady nor "Billy boy" are retired by the beginning of the 2018/19 season. Put your money where your mouth is. That's what I thought. Another fake Jest tough guy...

That's right, a tough guy, haha? Brady is going to retire in two years, and so will Bill!

But keep telling yourself they won't.

Keep telling yourself that, Tunescribe.

Maybe you guys can suck for a year, with Garrapolo and land a top pick, and draft Andrew Luck 2.0? Who knows? But I know for sure, that the Patriots will not be dominating the AFC East once Brady retires. It seems as if SOME of you guys don't appreciate or understand the greatness of Brady.

Still waiting for you to put your money where your mouth is, but we all know New Jersey fans don't have the balls to do so. You're a direct reflection of Wrecks - all mouth, then head south. Still waiting for that PM and bet.

I've already PM'D you , buddy.

Just one more point, when Res was "talking" in '09 '10 and half of '11 we were winning. And the most memorable win in the playoffs came over, your beloved pats!

First of all, I'm not telling myself, I'm telling YOU. Second, the Patriots don't need another Belichick & Brady to dominate the AFCE -- just the Bills, Dolphins and your perennially dysfunctional Green Beans. Coaches and players come, coaches and players go. Ownership and organization are the cornerstones of sustained success in the NFL. You'll realize that soon enough.

You're more delusional than me,

As I said KEEP telling that to Yourself. Without Brady, how many games do the 2013 2014 pats win last season? Answer it please.

You did PM me and I suggested a wager that Brady and "Billy boy" will still be NFL active on opening day 2018.

Who knows, who cares, why even ask? But I'm sure it still would've been more than New Jersey.
Oh, so the Patriots would have won nine games?

You don't appreciate Brady. Fans like YOU deserve Geno Smith and Tim Tebow.

Pathetic.

Pathetic.
Certainly I appreciate Brady, why do you think not? I just appreciate the team more; the Pats aren't dependent on just one guy. They won 11 games without Brady in 2008, which proves that.

It's fans like YOU that deserve Gee-No! Smith. Why? Because you root for his team and want him to succeed. You're such a masochist, why do you come here?

Yup, the Pats surely didn't depend on one guy last season! All jokes and trolling aside, you are absolutely delusional , if you think the Pats will dominate the AFC East for another decade. If you took a poll right now, I'm sure 90% of the posters on this board WOULD agree with me. You keep asking me why I come here, but why do you continue to respond to my posts? You clearly are enjoying this. I'm not going to entertain you here anymore, because I do no want to derail this thread anymore. You're clearly a fan of mine, I'm not sure why, but thank you.

I'm no fan of yours, just a curious observer. Many posts ago I admitted that your Green Beans-oriented codependent psychosis interests me. Call it a morbid fascination.

To those who might care (and I can't imagine anyone would) Jets fan in the end declined my offer to wager. What a surprise...

The wager you tried to change at the last minute.

You are absolutely brilliant, Jackson.
