Who is your NFL MVP?

I think Watt gets it by a slim margin over Rodgers.
Would love to see Brady get his 3rd. I think he needed a better start to the season to have a real shot though....

Rodgers. He has pretty much carried that team all season and can guide his team to either the #1 seed or a first round bye if they win out.

Rodgers just crapped the bed against the Bills. Brady lit them up.
Watt is a defensive lineman, and he's on a non-playoff team.
Murray's a running back who's sharing the spotlight with Romo.

It should be a wide open race right now. ESPN ran a poll which reflected this.

Its gonna be Rogers, unless he lays another egg, and/or loses the division at Lambeau in week 17. Unless Brady throws 8 touchdowns and no picks in these last 2 and Rogers is average. That might do it.

Mr. Rodgers doesn't like to be away from his neighborhood...

It will be Rogers or Manning unless Brady goes lights out and they crap themselves.

With that said, I personally would give it to either Murray or Le'Veon Bell. Bell has been on absolute fire and is a player that I think will do some significant damage in the playoffs...

There's definitely not a clear cut winner of the group this year. My thinking is that they'll give it to a quarterback more often than a DL or a RB and Rodgers, as a whole, has had a pretty outstanding season. Further, the Packers beat the Pats head to head and I've thought even before that that the winning QB of that contest would be MVP.

wonder if pack fans are as gracious as pats fans...

I agree with the notion that this was decided in the Patriots vs Packers game.

Had Brady won, then he'd have more of a shot.. Just like how Brady beating Manning puts Brady ahead of Manning despite Manning having better stats.

Only way Brady has a chance to get it is if the Packers don't win their division, The best statistical QB in the league on a 1/2 seed team who won head-to-head against the runner-up deserves the award.

MVP depends on your definition of the term.

If it's the most valuable player to his team and most responsible for being where they are, it will always be a QB on a championship level team.

If it's the best player in the league then it may well be JJ Watt, but he is not more valuable than the elite signal callers, not even close.

You take away Brady or Rodgers and add Watt and those teams W-L will suffer drastically.

Well, GB's will, we've still got Aladin at QB :D

There's not a clear cut player heading into week 16, which is a bit odd.

Rodgers was that guy, but a horrible showing last week brought him back to the rest of the pack a bit. Much like you, I still think he's probably the choice, but there are a number of players that could step up over these last 2 weeks to claim it with good showings.

Rodgers by a good bit but Brady is arguably top 5.

I think Rodgers wins. But if Brady sweeps the bills with another stellar game and Rodgers is so/so, Brady could win it. But I want Brady to have a sb mvp, not a nfl mvp

MVP is a contradiction to the very nature of an NFL T-E-A-M. It's just another device to create clicks and as much disharmony, discord and ill will as possible toward some players while deifying others. It sucks.

Honestly JJ Watt deserves it, but they won't give it to him. He has kept the Texans relevant entirely on his own

I think you make a great point. Sadly for Watt, you are probably right.
